Susan Ross We are dropping our daughter off at college in Waxahachie and found this adorable place. The food was all so delicious. I had the soup of the day which was green chili with chicken and hominy. Very tasty!! My salad was the Texas Caesar Salad, a yummy twist on your typical Caesar salad. Hubby had a huge and delectable hamburger and my daughter had the panini and house salad. We all loved our food and they topped off their lunch with the strawberry shortcake. We will be back!! Our waitress was sweet and attentive.

Amanda Heeter We didn’t get photos of food, we were unprepared with how good this would be. From the beginning welcome to drinks and food, this place is hands down incredible! We had the sausage breakfast burrito and huevos potosinos plate with Barbacoa. The salsa & guac & chips, excellent too. Blood Maria highly recommend. This place is outstanding

Phoebe Agundis The hot fudge was actually hot, it is real hot fudge, the kind so sweet it gives you a stomach ache. The ice cream portion was larger than I expected. The soup was also larger than I expected, that was the “cup” option. The ice Cream was served in the same size cup. The sandwiches were made to order and fully customizable. They were very attentive. We orders some food to be served later and they accommodated nicely. Was not overly busy. Must go to the register to order and then seat yourself.

Kasy Wilson Our original dinner plans fell through, so we ended up here on a whim, and Im so glad we did! The place has a great, laid-back vibe. The food was fantastic. I had the cheesesteak, and it had really good flavor. The fries were perfectly cooked—good texture and not over-seasoned. Even the iced tea was fresh, which is a small thing but makes a big difference. The best part, honestly, might have been the bun. It was so soft and didnt tear up my gums like some hoagie rolls do. Service was quick and the guy who took our order was polite and helpful. Well definitely be putting this place in our regular rotation. Highly recommend!

Megan Etheridge I had the mozzarella and tomatoes and it was really tasty. I am not sure what the dipping sauce was, but it was good. My kids had the mufeletta and they really liked them. I also had a peach belini, and it was really good. They gave us cannolis because it was out first time. We also had a cookie that looked like a peach. I thought it was a real peach. Everyone working there was really nice.

Ren Ram Its my first visit to First Watch and it did not disappoint. The variety on the menu made is hard to make a decision, so many amazing options! Everything was delicious, great place, thank you! We will definitely be back! Amazing service and cute, fun vibe. The outdoor patio looked inviting as well! Shari Underhill Upon entering, the initial intention was to order barbecue; however, a recommendation for fried pork chops prompted a shift in preference, and the experience proved to be highly satisfying. The exterior of the pork chops was exceptionally flaky and crispy, enhanced by excellent seasoning, while the interior remained remarkably juicy and tender. Additionally, the mashed potato-style potato salad was a delightful accompaniment. My spouse opted for the barbecue, selecting sliced brisket and ribs, along with pinto beans. The brisket and ribs were both notably juicy and flavorful. The pinto beans were perfectly seasoned. The establishments popularity is evident, as it often experiences high customer volume, a testament to its appeal among local patrons.

Beau Dico Having spent multiple visits here the staff has always been super great. Trivia nights are also fun to watch or participate in. Pizza has always been super delicious! Wings are good, but on the soggy end. Rotating local beer selections make for unique times every visit.

Alyssa Vasquez Food was really good. I ordered the fajita combination and it came out sizzling to perfection. Service is really good. We didn’t wait too long to receive our food. The rice and tortillas were not the best for me, but I’m very picky when it comes to them. I would highly recommend coming and trying out the fajitas and the Barbacoa tostadas!! Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Waxahachie by far to me!!!

Laloria The greeter, Caleb, was awesome. The theater was clean. They are currently under construction and had only a few arcade games available. The kid pack is a great value. The popcorn was a little salty. I was able to get a replacement that was not as salty. The restrooms were maintained. The theater was clean. We loved the reclining theater seats with the swivel table trays.

Saltofjoy First time there and cant say enough how much we enjoyed everything. We were seated quickly and had an amazing server, Kimberly N. She was attentive and very sweet. Our food was amazing and came out quickly. Portions are huge! Will definitely be back!

Katie G This place is a hidden gem! Their food is authentic, and delicious every time. They have the best quesabirra’s in Waxahachie, in my opinion, but I have tried most places in town. The staff is always friendly and greets everyone with a smile. They do have a small location, with very limited seating, so just be aware if you plan to go. It’s more of a to go kinda spot, but there are a couple tables inside and outside, too.
