Kay Lowry The food here is outstanding! The little details; chips, salsa, and tortillas were all tasty. We ordered chicken enchiladas verde with roasted vegetables and ribeye with enchiladas. Service was excellent. I would definitely eat here again!

Christopher Sizer I truly enjoyed my visit here. Excellent food and really nice atmosphere. Very well designed in what appears to be an old building. I wish there was a history of the building on the menu but thats possibly just me. All of our dishes were plated very well fit presentation and they have a very good salsa served with chips that kept coming.

Eric Barrows We decided to give this place a try. Well we are very pleased we did!! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is good. I had the best chicken fried steak ever!! Fork tender and the crust did not fall away from the cut. Wifey had the Beer Batter Fried Cod. Easy to cut, flakey, not oily and it wasn’t dried out!! Mac cheese was moist and cheesy. You will it be disappointed at all. Oh my wife says that she usually doesn’t care for CFS (chicken fried steak) but she had to admit it was very good!!

Andrew Mathis Excellent burger. I had the CCB Goat Burger on a Pretzel Bun. It was fantastic. All the flavors meshed so well. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten (like I will be thinking about it for a while). The fries were not standard fries. They sort of were curled and seemed to be cut differently. They were crispy and kept the crisp hours later as I took it to go. I let my fam try it and it got eyebrow raising responses. I had their double IPA and it was very good. The beer choices covered all the bases for options you’d expect, with a few interesting brews to keep it unique. They had about 8-10 on tap choices. They even had canned beer to purchase. I did not see if they were the same beers on tap. Staff was nice, helpful, and I seemed to have been helped out by several different people which was great because I felt like they were all ready to help when I needed it. I went at an off time but it seemed like their set up doesn’t use servers. You order by the bar and have the option of keeping a tab open. That seems like a system that would make it bogged down during busy times but that’s just a guess. Lots of seating with half of it outside. It was a quaint spot that gives off major Boerne vibes that has amazing food and good beer. I look forward to going back and trying more beer (which they let you try samples, I didn’t because of time) and some more items on the menu. Hope this helps.

From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. She anticipated our needs, gave great recommendations, and made us feel like valued guests the entire time. What really stood out was her genuine smile and upbeat attitude — even during a busy shift. She handled everything with grace and professionalism, and it made our dining experience all the more enjoyable. Great service like this deserves to be recognized. Tom Brimer Six of us enjoyed a fabulous dinner with great food and large portions. We had the turkey sandwich, fish sandwich, turkey burger, BLT, and two children chicken fingers along with fries, onion rings, and sweet potato fries. All were excellent. All of us left full and satisfied. The service was great and the food came out very quick.

K C Abby was an amazing server. She was super kind and patient while we ordered our food and togo orders. Great place to eat and relax after Sunday service. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Po Po family restaurant.

Shawn Kelly My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Dodging Duck Brewhaus. The service was phenomenal — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. Our server made us feel right at home and never missed a beat. The food was fantastic. The Reuben was stacked perfectly and full of flavor, the burger was cooked just right, and the homemade-style chips and mashed potatoes were a great touch. And that dessert… unreal. Rich, warm, and indulgent — the perfect ending to the night. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, especially on the patio with the lights and heaters. It made for a perfect night out together. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

David Presley Magues is a local establishment where the owners and staff just decided to do it right. The food is authentic and the service is efficient and friendly. Come early to avoid the line, although the line moves along fairly quickly. Ive only stopped in for breakfast, so no insight as to their lunch offerings but the juevos rancheros are some of the best Ive had. Prices are reasonable.

Carol Glass The atmosphere of this place lived up to the hype. The memorabilia collection is much bigger than I expected and it top quality. The food was good and the service was great. I was surprised that we had paper plates to eat off of and plastic cups, but ultimately it did not take away from the experience. We will definitely be back.
