Sop My wife and I finally made it to Thai Cottage in Sugar Land after living in the area for nearly 15 years. We stopped in for dinner after a high school open house, and overall it was a great first experience. We started with water, iced tea, Tom Kha with shrimp, and the Wings of Paradise. The Tom Kha soup was flavorful and served hot, though I found it a little light on the coconut flavor. The Wings of Paradise, on the other hand, were amazing—crispy on the outside, with a special garlic-basil sauce that made them unforgettable. For entrées, we shared the Three Taste Fish Fillet, crab fried rice (medium heat), and Pad See Ew with beef. The fish was fried perfectly golden with a light panko-style batter, but a bit bland on its own—the sauce with onions, carrots, and bell peppers more than made up for it. The crab fried rice was a highlight with generous chunks of crab and just the right spice level. The Pad See Ew had that classic smoky wok flavor with flat noodles, Chinese broccoli, and egg—exactly how I like it. The decor was inviting, light in color with touches of greenery. It’s not overly fancy but well done for a strip-center spot. The dining area is spacious with comfortable seating, and there’s a small bar in the back. Service was friendly, and my wife gave the place a thumbs up as well. Overall, Thai Cottage is definitely worth a visit. We’ll be coming back again soon—especially for those wings and crab fried rice!

Jaelyn Melena My friend celebrated her birthday here during their one-year anniversary weekend, and overall it was a great experience. The place was very crowded, so I definitely recommend coming early—the restaurant is pretty small and seating is limited. Even with a reservation, we still waited about 30 minutes before being seated. The golden mango fruit tea was so good and refreshing. I highly recommend trying it. For my entrée, I ordered the Panama curry. It was really flavorful, though I do wish it came with a bit more steak. I also had a sidecar from the bar, and it was strong—in a good way. Since it was their anniversary celebration, they hosted a raffle and I actually won a $50 gift card! I’ll definitely be back. This is a cute, cozy spot with a chill vibe and tasty food.

MARYAM Sugar Man City Square is one of those places that just makes you feel good. It’s very clean, very organized, and everything is easy to find. I love how open and family-friendly it is. You see kids playing, families walking around, and everyone seems relaxed and happy. There are so many nice spots to sit and work too. Whether you want to grab a coffee, have a meeting, or just relax with your laptop, there are work-friendly places everywhere. The restaurants are lovely—lots of variety and cozy seating areas. And the small caves and little hidden corners around the square give it a fun and unique feeling. One thing I really appreciate is how well-maintained everything is. The people who take care of this place clearly put in a lot of effort, and it shows. It’s a space that feels both peaceful and alive at the same time. And right nearby, there’s the Marriott—so convenient if you’re visiting or want to enjoy a staycation.

Roseann Amador One of my go to places I love to enjoy. They have a great Happy Hour Menu for food and drinks. I ordered a small size pizza and the spinach artichoke dip. I love the deep dish pizza which had pineapple, Ham and jalepenos very good I definitely recommend. For the spinach artichoke dip Is definitely not something I would try again the chips were to salty for my liking. I went on a Tuesday so they have pazookie which is the cookie with ice cream only $5 can’t go wrong so good!

Ifeoma The customer service at this place is undeniable. Probably the most friendliest staff Ive had the pleasure of encountering in all my years of existence, from our waitress, Kaitlyn, to the front staff to our food runner. And compliments to the chef/(s). The food was 10 out of 10. There was absolutely no wait and when we ate one meal, the subsequent meals came out with perfect timing - it was unbelievable. Probably the first time Ive encountered such a perfectly timed sequence.

HUSSAIN BAJWA Karahi Boys delivered an absolutely unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant aroma of fresh spices let us know we were in the right place. The food here doesn’t just taste good—it bursts with authentic flavor, passion, and perfection. Every dish we tried tasted freshly prepared and full of depth. The karahi itself was exceptional: rich, aromatic, and cooked to the perfect balance of tenderness and spice. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their craft, using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques that bring every bite to life. What makes Karahi Boys stand out is the consistency. Whether it’s the sizzling gravies, the perfectly charred grilled items, or the warm, fluffy naan, everything arrives hot, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The portions are generous, and each dish feels like it’s made with heart. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere had that lively, welcoming energy that makes you want to stay longer.
