Alexis Slone It was really crowded, but we got a table fairly quick. Was very clean. I told the waitress it was my brothers Birthday but it was very busy and she must have forgotten, which i couldnt blame her she was busy, the food was delicious. We got the Bacon Burger and the Crispy Chicken strips, they were both good! At the end of the meal i went to the back and told another waitress that it was my brothers Birthday, after that the waitress we had Apologized for the wait and sang to him!

Get It On Jonez My daughter had a college visit, and the coach brought us here. The food was exceptional. I had pecan waffles, and my wife had pancakes. She doesnt care for big, thick pancakes, so she didnt touch it, but my waffle was great.

Stephen Reynolds Delicious food. Friendly efficient service. I had the tuna poke bowl. It was fantastic. The meal started with onion soup, which tasted great, onion flavor with a little soy taste. Thai tea was classic. Will definitely be coming back for more.

Misty Landed at Grumps during a curated day retreat with the boyfriend. We were in town from DFW and drove past this location. The place was welcoming and fun. Plenty of seating. We were greeted promptly for counter service. Plenty of beer and cocktail choices. I went with a bottle of Shiner and boyfriends draft was icy cold. Food took the 12-15 minutes we were told to wait. And it was well worth the short wait. The food came out hot and delicious. I chose the basic burger with no mustard with a side of sweet potato fries. Both came out perfectly cooked and prepared. Say yes to the jalapeño ketchup! And the ranch was spot on. Both offered by the attentive staff as they brought us our food at no extra charge. Thank you for the courtesy.

Syd Grant This was on my list to visit so we planned a trip specifically coming here from lunch on our way back home to Fort Worth from the hill country. Caught them after the Sunday lunch rush so sat right down and ordered. Love the old school diner with the soda fountain bar. Fresh pies were on display and had to save room too. The staff is all very friendly and down home. The prices are reasonable as well. I had the small (next size is double and then a triple party is XL) chicken fried steak with their fresh cut waffles fries. The CFS was remarkable and lived the gravy as well. Glad I opted for smaller size so I could have some pie. My wife let me have a bite of her patty melt and it was so delicious! You can taste the difference in a fresh groin beef patty too! The pies were amazing but my cherry jubilee was exceptional. Loved the homemade crushed crust and nuts. Great place to stop and have some down home cooking!
