Summer France Surprising spot! Havent tried the chinese food yet, but if its as good as the quesabirrias, this will be a new stop. I will update with the chinese review, in the meantime, service was quick and personable, the truck is clean and the tacos are EXCELLENTE! UPDATE: the chinese is indeed quite good, very fresh and well portioned. Better than the restaurants in Mt. Pleasant.

Fique Feliz Absolutely hands down the best brisket that my wife and I have eaten in East Texas. We have eaten brisket in Jefferson, Longview, Tyler, Texarkana, and surrounding other smalle cities. From the time we walked in we were welcomed and shown where to go and what to do. the employees were extremely nice and courteous as we went through the line. We also got to meet one of the owners and he showed his appreciation for us coming out to eat at their place. the brisket was tender, moist, and exquisite. The best flavor we have experienced at a restaurant. I cant believe we have been missing out on this place for the past four years. April Kirkland Horrible service! I was told to pull up for three chicken strips, which I understand they have to cook no issues there. I pulled up past the trashcan where they told me to and then they asked me to pull up even further because I was blocking the line. I pulled up to the edge of the curb, and they told me I needed to pull up even further because the person behind me couldn’t get out. If I pulled up further, I’d be creating my own parking spot. When I told them, I can’t move up anymore she’d have to back up and go around me or some thing they told me I needed to calm down because I was making a scene. Get over yourself.

The view alone is worth the visit — peaceful water, beautiful sunset, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay all evening. Carla Radcliffe Castaways is the new gem in Pittsburg, TX. Being gluten free I asked them if they could put salads on their new menu and they DID…and let me say it’s delicious. I have had it twice now once with grilled shrimp the other with grilled chicken and they did not disappoint. And not to mention our server Stephanie (on a packed night) was amazing!!! Great job!!

Oscar Escobar First time here. Told the nice lady behind the serving counter Ive never eaten here. She quickly cut a hot link off and cut it in half for me to sample. I then ordered the 10 link plate with 2 sides. Beans and chili, I was told to get by a friend. The links are small but pack a punch. I was instructed to dip the hot link into the chili and put on a saltine cracker with grated cheddar. Let me tell you how good that was. The texture is like boudin. The flavor was great. Definitely hit the spot. They also had potato salad, squash/zucchini, and other sides I cant remember. Definitely worth it. The fountain drinks had plenty of selections too. Thanks yall for being so nice
