Big Island Poke - (Near Renton, WA)

Rick Fahnestock This is a must stop café. It’s such a warm friendly environment with a view of what your food experience is gonna be like at the front counter displaying dozens of wonderful bakery items. They have an extensive coffee bar people seem to come in and grab their bakery items and coffee to go. This is our second visit here and it was absolutely wonderful. We stopped for breakfast on our way to the hospital for surgery on my knee. So I got mine to go, which is one of the pictures I uploaded. Something that stands out here more than other Breakfast restaurants is their side of fruit is not just some melon thrown together, but in an arrangement of citrus, pineapple, and apples. Very inviting and very pallet cleansing. The weight staff is friendly and very well trained. They take care of even the smallest of needs.

Robert Mclaughlin Very nice place, food was very tasty and there salsa bar had a great variety. Everything from low temp to high and sweet savory. Each on of their salsas had its own special flavor. The in house made taco shells were to die for. They have a drive thru but I would go in for the nice atmosphere, and smells.

Kyle W. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brunch here was fantastic. My German pancake was amazing — perfectly cooked, light, and full of flavor. I also had a greyhound, which was refreshing and paired great with the meal. The building itself is part of the experience — the iconic wooden door, cozy cabin-style feel, and warm, inviting vibe make this place instantly recognizable and memorable. It feels like a destination, not just a restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I’d happily return to and recommend. The Birch Door Cafe is absolutely worth the visit.

Courtney Nelson We stopped by Charlie’s on a total whim after church and wow, what a happy accident. Across the board, 5 stars! The food was so good it was genuinely hard to decide what to order, and somehow we still made all the right choices because everything was fantastic. Not a single disappointment. On top of that, the staff was absolutely amazing..,friendly, welcoming, and on it. This place just gets it. We’ll definitely be back.

Shawn Belles Scuttlebutt Brewing in Everett checks all the boxes for a memorable dining experience—great views, great food, and great vibes. Located right on the waterfront, the atmosphere is casual but lively, with a clear view of the marina that adds a perfect Northwest touch. We ordered a variety of classics, and nothing disappointed: crispy fried shrimp, flavorful fish and chips, a massive fried chicken sandwich that was nearly impossible to fit in your mouth, plus chicken strips, soft pretzels, and mozzarella sticks with a spicy marinara that had just the right kick. Everything was hot, fresh, and better than expected—comfort food done really well. Our server brought a ton of personality to the table—quick with a joke and not afraid to fire one back. It made the meal even more fun and memorable. If you’re traveling through Everett, this is an excellent stop. And if you’re a local who hasn’t checked it out yet, it’s time. Scuttlebutt was a true highlight of our trip.

Holly If the West Side Kitchen was a musical artist, I’d pay premium big bucks just to be in the nosebleeds. I’m a fanatic. I swore off spending for a while once, but broke in honor of their beef bulgogi. They’re consistent, fresh, kind, and quick given the volume. Lots of fun beverages and snacks, great music, and overall their love for what they do is reflected in the food. I want to eat a bahn mi or drunken noodle as I write this. Don’t miss this.
