5 /5 Soulie: I havent had much Korean food before, let alone "authentic" stuff, but Ive been hearing this is authentic as it gets for Korean BBQ in the entire area as far as Im aware. Went there early afternoon today with my dad, and man oh man was the food amazing, I dont even know where to start. All the little side dishes you get are perfect. And you know its a good spot when its a hole in the wall kind of place, not to mention you know its good and authentic when literally everyone there was native Korean, be it customer and staff, the downside of this being that the staff spoke very little English but they knew enough to communicate for orders, paying etc. so you shouldnt have to worry about that. The beef short ribs were the star of the show in my opinion, wish we got more they were so delicious, had a nice little char flavor to them and were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and fairly generous portions of meat on them as well. The only thing I didnt care for was the Korean Sausage appetizer, it had a nice flavor but the texture didnt sit right with me. Overall, amazing and extremely authentic Korean BBQ, this is a MUST GO. Last thing I should mention, the sign above the store says something like "Black Box" with some Korean letters next to it, thats the right place.
