Dukes Seafood Kent - (Near Kent, WA)

4 /5 Jailyn Vinson: I had a great first experience at Duke’s seafood. The service was fantastic and the overall atmosphere was great. My halibut was quite tasty and the Marionberry Pie with vanilla ice cream was a great final treat! I do think their prices are a tad expensive, but keep in mind they have fresh ingredients and that not everything they are using is cheap, so it’s understandable. This place also gives you free sourdough bread! Make sure you don’t order much appetizers. A final tip—make sure you ask questions on whatever you’re ordering. They don’t have main sides that come with your meal on their menu for some reason, so I had to ask what my halibut came with. But I will definitely come back.

5 /5 Daniela: We went out for dinner after the movies. Our server Eddie was great accommodating a romantic table by the window with beautiful holiday lights view of the street, he made our drinks, we got whiskey and is the best ever whiskey and is strong. The appetizer crab cakes the texture the flavor all together was heaven delicacy for the palate. We ordered the lobster tail which was perfectly moist cooked and the potatoes to the perfection and the zucchini with chard steam crunchy excellent. Highly recommend for great food and great strong drinks, also for atmosphere and great service. Thanks Eddie!

5 /5 Melanie Goodman: We have not been to Dukes in many years and I was actually pleasantly surprised by the menu and atmosphere. I cant believe it took us this long to return! The food was amazing. we ordered a soup and salad combo, salmon salad and salmon pasta. the portions were on the large side, you can certainly take half home or split it. Service was on point, very polite and attentive. I liked water cups as there are not the typical water cups, adds a nice color pop to the table. Definitely recommend this place

4 /5 Pearl Lee: I have been to the Dukes at Southcenter and Ruston but never have been to the one at Kent, so decided to give it a try as I read from other reviews that they allow dogs and we were in the area. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon to spend time with our fur babies while grabbing lunch. I entered inside to see if they allow outdoor seating and not only was I greeted warmly but told that they do allow outdoor seating even despite it being in late November. We were guided by the hostess to our seats with menus and then given plates, utensils and water by our waiter, Alex. He even brought our dogs a huge water bowl to share, which I thought was considerate. I received my birthday offer so I got the Oh My Cod! Fish and Chips to split with my boyfriend as well as bowl of chowder to also share. When our food arrived, our food was already plated separately which I thought was very thoughtful. Service at Dukes is always spectacular no matter which location you go to, so please visit one you havent already or if it has been some time because the food, service and atmosphere is always a good time. Our food was made to perfection, my boyfriend and I were raving about how the fish and breading were perfect. I love the texture and taste of the coleslaw. The clam chowder was very salty, which I wasnt a huge fan of and might have to try a different soup which is unfortunate as I adore Dukes clam chowder but this is a different location but it had the same amount of salt as my previous visit at Ruston so maybe its a change in recipe? When we were getting ready to pay and pack up our food, Alex gave us a complimentary bread to take home as well as butter for us. Thank you Alex for being an absolute fantastic waiter and we hope to be back in a future visit.

5 /5 Betsy Papaly: I needed to eat lunch really quickly and get going, and when I told my server so, she brought out my lunch in 5 minutes! And it was really, really good. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the restaurant has a very nice vibe to it. The menu is quite extensive, but of course, if youre there, go for the seafood. My crab cakes were amazing. Ill go back for sure to have a more leisurely meal.
