Finistère - Port Townsend

Rating: 4.8 /5
Avant Lard Travel - by Houston Porter Simply amazing - the best restaurant in Port Townsend...and probably all of the Northwest. Weve now visit Finistère half a dozen times since they open and every visit has been wonderful from beginning to end. The food is phenomenal (on par with some of the Michelin star restaurants weve visited), the ambiance is relaxed and comfortable, and the staff/owners are always welcoming, friendly, and professional. Ever since our first visit nearly a decade ago, our first stop/reservation when visiting Port Townsend is at Finistère.

Nikki I made reservations for Sunday brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. We were seated by the window with a beautiful view. I had the crab Benedict and my husband had the crab and shrimp frittata. Both dishes were delicious, not overly salty and a just right portion. We each had a glass of champagne, followed by a hot espresso and a slice of eggnog cheesecake to split. The dessert was recommended and it did not disappoint. They included a candle to acknowledge his birthday. Overall a great place to celebrate and we plan on a return visit with family members.

Lester M. I have been wanting to eat here for years and was finally able to. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and we would highly recommend. They gave us two glasses of champagne to celebrate and we also ordered the Watermelon Sugar High and the Fire and Ice. Both were Unique and well made drinks. We ordered the Sea Wolf Sourdough which was my wife’s favorite. Perfectly infused garlic in the bread. We also ordered the Buccatni, sauce and the pasta came al dente. Perfectly cooked and well made. We also had the Hamachi Crudo which was fresh and the Lamb Shank which filled us. All were flavor full and well prepared. Super happy with all the dishes. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Pacmon Argentinian chophouse (wish they had Argentinian beef) does do justice with US Beef! It’s tough to get a last minute reservation, especially on a weekend, so had food to go. My order consisted of Parilla Mixta, Flat Iron and the grilled sourdough. Instead of skewered skirt steak, I had a cut of skirt steak which I wasn’t complaining! Lol. The steaks were tender, well seasoned and properly grilled to MR. Poblano plenta was creamy and buttery goodness, and their chorizo sausage was completely unexpectedly awesome! Sourdough bread was chewy buttery goodness as was the iron steak with rosemary fries. Sourdough bread far, the best chophouse in Tacoma!

Dayann Grammes Love coming here. Food is always delicious. Service is impeccable and the view!? The. Best. Came to celebrate my MIL buying a house in Liberty Lake and it was just perfect. We tried the trout and the Lingcod for the first time. Delicious. Calamari was on point as was my MIL’s shrimp scampi. Oh and it’s peach season so the peach cheesecake was decadent.

Iron Chef - Puyallup

Jennie Drake We love Iron Chef. Great experience for the family and the food is always amazing. I have Celiac Disease and they are always super accommodating, making sure my food is made first, showing me the sauces they are using to make me more comfortable and then making the rest of the dinner with regular ingredients.
