Elizabeth Pashley Stayed here after going to the San Juan Islands but coming home late enough we couldnt drive all the way home from Anacortes. An excellent location for staying at before or after your Island ferry trip, especially as because its attached to a casino its not weird to get in late or leave early based on the ferry schedule, there will be plenty of staff on site. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was quite large and the bathroom felt luxurious. No tub, if thats important to you, but is not to me and the shower was so nice you may find it less important during this stay. Our room faced the water, which is always an enjoyable experience in Washington. If you looked down you could also see the small off-leash dog park for the RV lot, which I enjoyed watching as well if Im honest.
We had breakfast at Carvers Cafe, which is on site on the other side of the casino floor. Full menu (roast beef aside) available all day, and food like the casinos of the old days - plentiful, good, and not overpriced. Staff here were also very friendly.
I also enjoyed the art in the rooms and around the location, including a large sitting area near the check-in, which most if not all of was made by Swinomish Tribal members and beautiful.
