Salted Mill - Walla Walla

Rating: 4.9 /5
Derrick The Salt Mill in Walla Walla offers a dining experience that feels both approachable and thoughtfully executed. The space itself is inviting, with an open layout that allows guests to see directly into the kitchen. The brick oven anchors the room and reinforces the restaurant’s rustic, honest approach to cooking. The overall atmosphere is upbeat without being loud, and it creates a setting that is well suited for both casual meals and more intentional dining. Hospitality is a clear strength. The service was attentive and well paced, with staff who were engaged, welcoming, and consistently pleasant. There was an ease to the interaction that made the experience feel relaxed rather than scripted, and the steady presence of the wait staff ensured that nothing felt overlooked. The Drive In burger, served with house-cut fries, was a standout. The burger was cooked perfectly, flavorful, and unapologetically messy in the best way—exactly what a great burger should be. The fries were well prepared and complemented the dish without trying to compete with it. The panna cotta appetizer, served with pita bread, was an unexpected highlight. It was balanced, satisfying, and thoughtfully presented, offering a lighter yet indulgent start to the meal that set a strong tone for what followed. In addition to the food, the wine list deserves mention. It is well curated and offers solid options to pair with the menu, further elevating the overall experience. The Salt Mill is a strong addition to the Walla Walla dining scene and an easy recommendation for anyone visiting the area. It delivers quality food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it well worth the stop.

NorthBound Bar & Grill - Spokane

Monique Cadieux Absolutely Worth a Visit – Don’t Let the 1-Star Review Fool You! I’m genuinely surprised by the recent 1-star review for Northbound Bar and Grill — and I feel it’s important to set the record straight. As someone who values great food, exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I can confidently say that review is not only misleading but simply doesn’t reflect the true experience this place offers. From the moment you walk in, the staff treats you like family. The service is attentive without being pushy, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the vibe strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively. Whether you’re grabbing a drink after work or enjoying a weekend dinner, you’ll find quality here — in both hospitality and flavor. One negative review shouldn’t overshadow the hard work and passion this team puts into every shift. If anything, it makes me want to support them even more. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Northbound Bar and Grill is absolutely worth your time. Try it for yourself — you’ll see exactly why the real majority of us keep coming back.

Trinhs Corner - Oak Harbor

Detrik Vander This place was great! I went in for the first time and ordered a bánh mì and a crème brûlée coffee, and was impressed with both. The bánh mì was full of delicious fresh veggies and flavorful chicken, while the crème brûlée coffee struck a stellar balance between coffee strength and sweetness, and the blow torched caramelized cream on top was a great touch. Cozy interior, friendly staff, and tasty meals. Definitely will be going back, one of the better local restaurants in Oak Harbor. Itd be cool to see some more Vietnamese decorations for an enhanced dine-in experience.
