Kyrsten J I finally made my first visit to The Jitter House today, and wow....what an experience! The place was buzzing with energy, full of people laughing, chatting, and clearly enjoying themselves. Beyond the lively atmosphere, the café doubles as a quirky little shop, selling an assortment of random trinkets that give it a unique charm.
I decided to try their Red Bull spritzer and ordered a breakfast sandwich to go along with it. Since I react badly to pork, I went with the vegan option made with Impossible sausage....even though it cost about a dollar more than the regular version. Unfortunately, that choice didn’t quite hit the mark. I couldn’t tell if the sausage was overcooked or if it’s just supposed to be that firm, but it gave the whole sandwich a strange texture and took away from the flavor. Still, I powered through and finished it.
On the bright side, every single staff member I interacted with was incredibly kind and welcoming, which really made the experience worthwhile. Even with the sandwich mishap, I’d definitely give The Jitter House another visit...next time, I’ll just try a different food option!
