Marias Place - (Near Cathlamet, WA)

Howard Kettner Wow! I cannot believe I’ve been travelling up and down the I-5 (coming from Canada to visit US based family in Oregon) for 20 years and had not discovered this gem. Nothing here off the back of the Sysco truck! (Seriously - watch the commentary on that subject on YouTube). Now that my wife and I have discovered it, this will be a stopping point as we travel north to south and back again.

LeiLani Graham We arrived and were greeted warmly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food we ordered was awesome! If you are a person that doesnt like spicy food be sure to read the full description of the meal. I like spicy food and loved it, my husband isnt as enthusiastic about spicy food but did enjoy his meal. We ordered the wine as suggested in the meal description.

Heather Johnston We found this place on google and it sure didn’t disappoint… other than the fact that we are from Beaumont Texas and can’t come here more often!! Doc had the country fried steak, stuffed hash browns and cheesy eggs….. incredible!!! Tender meat, perfectly fried, crust was full of flavor, eggs were cheesy and fluffy…. It all just melted in your mouth! I had the crepes with peaches and they were really good. We bought a slice of carrot cake to go and when I say slice…. It is more like a slab of cake! It fills up a pie pan!! It could feed 4 people! Our waitress was fantastic! Very attentive, gave us great recommendations not just what to eat, but what to explore while in the area. I wish I remembered her name. Bangs… delightful personality, sweet smile! I would highly recommend this restaurant!!

M T We enjoyed the halibut/chips and the calamari/chips. We upgraded to sweet potato fries ($3 more/dish) and its worth it as theyre so crispy and well seasoned. The generous container of chili lime tartar went well with the hot seafood. There were only two other occupied tables when we went so our food came out quite fast!

Anosh Nazari that’s a big surprise delicious, and so tasty food Recommending for you guys should try this family dish, friendly staff, a nice place for dining.

Roger Skjelstad Food was excellent very well prepared tasted amazing and was presented in a very welcoming and friendly manner all the staff or attentive and made sure that everything was up to our liking with definitely recommend and will be returning again. Even the pricing was very reasonable for a finer class type establishment. Very nice decorations and style to the seating and booths.
