Scotty Browns Barkley Village - (Near Bellingham, WA)

Mark I was recently at an event over at the Tulalip gathering hall. They had Las Margaritas cater the event. I have to tell you, the food served was some of the best Mexican food Ive had. Tasty, savory, eye appealing, just the right amount of salt, and just the right amount of spice. The flavors of the enchiladas, beans, rice, tamales, were all excellent. I was so impressed and look forward to having more food from this place. The owner and his son were the ones managing the meal. They were very accommodating and natural friendly.

Jenn W We needed to stop and get some food on our way home from Seattle, and we just happened upon this place. I was a little surprised it was drive thru only, but they do have picnic benches outside. We ate in our car since it was raining. I ordered the half rack baby back ribs and fries, and I was shocked when i opened it up. It was at least twice the amount of ribs I was expecting, based on half racks Ive had pretty much any other bbq place Ive been. And they were so yummy. Soft and tender, and the bbq sauce was perfect. The fries were really good too. Definitely a plus they make their own fry sauce. We also ordered the special of the day, which was meatballs, and they were yummy too. We will for sure come back if were ever in the area. But if youre driving through, its worth the 10 minutes off the freeway

Jackie Lee First time trying malatang. Was pleasantly surprised! I LOVE spicy food but I’ve never gone out of the way to try mala food. Fun concept of building your own bowl- but definitely easy to go overboard. Tip- weigh your bowl as you go at the front to make sure you’re not going crazy because your wallet will definitely pay for it later! I got the original malatang level 4 (they say level 2 is like shin ramen and level 4 is like buldak). Definitely had a nice kick to it. They ask if you want to add any toppings when you get to the counter and while I didn’t get any this time, I’d probably add cilantro next time I think it’d pair really well with the broth. We also got the pork guobaorou (the server said that’s the most popular), and it had a sweet and sour sauce while the pork itself was crispy on the outside yet had a chewy inner layer. Reminds me a lot of tangsuyuk! The guobaorou pieces were pretty big- the smaller size was definitely enough to share between two people as a side dish. Will definitely be back to try the other mala options (they also said the rose stir fry was the other popular dish)

R E It’s our first time here and Laura made our experience exceptional. She explained the menu thoroughly and served our food efficiently! She knows exactly what we need. The calamari is so good and crispy. Mini pizookie is a soft touch to the end of our meal! We are definitely going to be back!

Melissa Vines Weve been here a few times and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere before 9pm. The tables arent crowded and service is always top notch! Im told the owner makes the desserts and I loved the Tiramisu Cheesecake I tried. My husband ordered a Brisket sandwich the other day and was underwhelmed but we both loved the catfish! My daughter enjoyed her chicken fried steak! My boys love their Chicken Caesar Wrap, Burgers and appetizers. Its definitely a go to for us.

siearra trudell Went for my birthday on a Saturday night. We had great service and had so much fun playing pickle ball with the black lights. Biggest bonus is how kid friendly this place is. My toddler loves it. We made it for happy hour which is a plus. My brothers got their holiday drinks which are festive and tasty. We love their smash burger and fries.
