BJs Restaurant & Brewhouse - (Near Tacoma, WA)

5 /5 R E: It’s our first time here and Laura made our experience exceptional. She explained the menu thoroughly and served our food efficiently! She knows exactly what we need. The calamari is so good and crispy. Mini pizookie is a soft touch to the end of our meal! We are definitely going to be back!

1 /5 Matt Heinrich: Our server Jessica was super nice and professional. The manager Amber was very rude and unprofessional. We googled BJ’s and it says they close at 12 AM. Looks like that might be wrong, we arrived around 10:30. Jessica took our order and Amber came over and tried to kick us out saying she has people coming in for an event. My wife apologized and told her that Google said it shows that they closed at midnight and apologized again and Amber rudely replied with “Well we are not affiliated with with Google” and told us we need to leave within a half hour as she kept talking over my wife trying to apologize. That’s when I heard the slur as she walked away waving her wrists around. As a recovering alcoholic, I can spot one easily. My wife and I are regulars here for date night weekly and have never been treated like this. I really hope that she gets talked to and learns how to treat people and employees. We could literally hear her cussing at them and an employee named Jay from the kitchen. Thank you Jessica for the great service and boo to that lady Amber for ruining my wife’s appetite and what very little time we get to go out together after our normal 12 hour work days. Thank you to the rest of the entire staff coming out to apologize for her and telling us to take our time. We like it here, we like the food, and now that we know it’s 11 and not 12, we will try to come earlier. Hopefully with a change in managment.

5 /5 MJ Ramirez: Today I visited BJ’s, looking for a late lunch. It seemed quite busy for a Saturday afternoon, however, there was no waiting for seating. Once I was at the table I was quickly attended to by my server, Apple, a very pleasant young lady. Service was very professional, I received my food very quickly. It was hot and as expected. My server checked on me frequently to see how I was doing and how the food was. I had ordered a plate of calamari and a side Caesar salad. I also enjoyed a salted caramel Pizookie. It was an excellent meal, I will definitely return, thank you Apple for making my dining experience an enjoyable one!!!

3 /5 Alisha Hawk: Our server and hostess were kind and attentive. However, there was a wait for our food. Once we received our meals they were not the quality we had returned for. My daughter’s plate was clearly sitting for awhile. Chunky Mac and cheese. Not just once, but twice. She barely ate anything. My salad had tuna that was beyond its life. Old produce like cucumber and greens. Not great. My oldest had a decent meal though. So, 1/3. When I told the manager, he was indifferent. Clearly very tired and had probably heard some variation of my complaint many times already. He was non chalky and brought out a side of chicken, that I refused to eat. We used to love eating here. We spent birthdays, outings and some special occasions here. However, it’s lost much of its luster. It might be awhile before we return. Sad. I have to go make something to eat, even though we just left there. Not ideal at all.

4 /5 Ashley Nicole: My husband and I come here every now and then and it never disappoints! Food is always good, occasionally we have to add salt and pepper. Our servers are always nice and attentive. The only thing I hate is the parking. Its at the mall so parking is very hard to find.
