5 /5 Anthonys Atlas: The search is finally over! This place has the best biscuits and gravy in the 209 area. These biscuits are made fresh daily and you can definitely tell. They are tall and fluffy and quite filling. the gravy is smooth and creamy I can’t say it’s the best gravy around but it complements the biscuit who is the real star of the show. All the other menu items we tried were delicious as well. portions are generous and prices are on par with most other breakfast joints. Service was excellent, fast and friendly even on a bustling Saturday morning. Atmosphere is nothing fancy just straight up cafe fare with a classic local vibe. This will absolutely be in rotation for breakfast and I am looking forward to trying the lunch menu

5 /5 ANGEL-x-76: One of my favourite local diners. I stayed in Turlock for 7 weeks and made sure we came here at least once a week for breakfast. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect for that old school diner feel and the portion sizes of the meals are generous. Everything we tried on the menu was great, especially the fall season special pumpkin pancakes!!!

5 /5 Lorie Witt: Our first time at AJs. The service was great and the food was delicious. My pancakes and hubbys biscuits were SO fluffy and good! We also both ordered eggs over medium and they were perfect, which many restaurants struggle to do on over medium. The only thing that wasnt great was the hot chocolate. It was...not good. Too watered down. Other than that though... Highly recommend, definitely will go back.

4 /5 andrea ottman: Service and food came out fast. Looked good on the plate. I had the quarter back special, eggs, spinach, bacon, onions and cheese with country potatoes. The eggs were good, however the potatoes had been parboiled., which I understand is necessary to cook quickly. However they were barely grilled for the order. After we returned home both my spouse and I were sick. I can attribute it to the meal we just consumed. I don’t think they clean the grill that they prepare food on very often. We used to like dining here, however after this episode we won’t return. Too bad, as there are limited options for breakfast in turlock. That why we have to travel out of town. This is an update of my previous review. We decided to give AJ’s another chance for breakfast. We dined here on Feb. 21 and this time we weren’t disappointed and we both felt fine the rest of the day. I ordered the Portugese skillet;, chopped linguica, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, potatoes. The portion was large and prepared well( the potatoes were grilled). My husband had pancakes and they were light and fluffy. Server was friendly and we received our coffee and meal quickly. I’m changing my stars to 4 out of 5. Thanks for the improvement AJ’s! We will return for breakfast again.

5 /5 Jocelyn Bartlett: I’ll never get fast food breakfast again!!! On occasion I find myself early to work and in need of a quick breakfast. I’m really tired of the overpriced, unflavored fast food options so I gave AJs a shot today and was pleasantly surprised!!! I was in and out in 10ish minutes, less time then it took for me to dump all of the available half n half’s into my coffee cup, and have a FRESH home cooked flavorful breakfast. I’ll be coming back for sure!
