Akitaca Crab - (Near Modesto, CA)

5 /5 gtavila dc4: My wife and I been eating here about twice a month since it opened. The food was always on point but the service, I’d say it was always okay. Yesterday (1/9/26) was the first time that we actually started with a poor experience. It was busy, so we waited to be seated which didn’t take long. Maybe 15-20 minutes. Once we were seated however, we were forgot about. Didn’t take our drink orders or anything as we watched a couple of tables who were seated after us by several minutes, get their orders taken. One of the employees who was cleaning tables got the attention of bartender Jessica, who not only took our drink orders but served us the whole night. We were seated at a back booth, out of sight from the bar.. But she went above and beyond to make sure we were good. Thank you Jessica.

5 /5 tori coit: Love coming here, food was exceptional, atmosphere is always nice I love the music they play the vibe was exactly the music I listen to so I loved it. Jordan was our server and he was great and attentive! Thank you Jordan!!

2 /5 B1G_Wonder: Came in wanting to try the place since it’s closer to home than Bag O Crab on Pelandale. the music was super loud, we couldn’t hear each other talk. If you’re worried about explicit lyrics don’t go here. After a while it did get busy, but not enough to be ignored by our server. We didn’t get any gloves, any shellfish cracking tools or much besides a bucket for the empty shells. Our server was no where to be found except helping others in another section and on his phone the few times we did see him. After our food arrived. The portions were disappointing, especially for the price. Had to flag down another server to get gloves, drink refills or any service at all. Even though she was busy with her few tables (one being like a table of 12) she was very helpful. I got the fried catfish basket with Cajun fries. The fish was amazing but the service did leave a sour taste in my mouth. But ma that fish was good! To summarize. Food is good, portions are smaller than what I’m used to for a few extra $$$. Music is TOO LOUD. Service was very poor from our server.

5 /5 1019jen: I brought me 2 sons 9 and 11 and my Bf and we got the 4 person combo that comes with king crab and we couldn’t finish it. The spices were fire and our cocktails were delicious. I’m a bartender and I was pleased with the whole deal. We will be coming back!

5 /5 ADRIANA MACIAS: I want to share how good our waiter Jordans customer service was, if Im not mistaken. We attended on November 11/17/25, around 6 pm. From the beginning to the end of our visit, he made sure that all of us, including kids—about 20 people—were satisfied with our needs and demands. Loved his attention, jokes, and dedication to his job. Love the vibe of reassuring customers that they are eating comfortably.
