5 /5 uossɐlɔ lǝıuɐp: Overall, the food was very good! The texture of the falafel, spanakopita, and grilled fish was excellent. I feel like the presentation/special something was missing relative to other medditarranean places of a similar price--youll notice all 4 dishes we ordered were simply garnished with arugula and a sauce container. This place is brand new so the service is understandably a work in progress. Great atmosphere and decent drinks (no liquor license).

4 /5 Jen Gargiulo: They have the best falafel that I have ever had, so moist and flavorful! The atmosphere is cozy, nice linnen napkins and the tables are close to one another. There is plenty of seating outside which is nice. Great stop to meet friends and enjoy good wine with good food. I went for dinner, but it is also very busy at lunch. The have a burger that has a vegan patty, but the bun is not vegan, and the aioli is not vegan, so it is not an appropriate dish for a person wanting a vegan or plantbased dish, but would be suited to a vegetarian. I ordered several food options and omitted the cheese or sauces and everything was good. I would eat here again.

5 /5 amanda lobato: Wow, everything was great from start to finish. We celebrated my birthday here tonight; Yousef and his staff were so kind and accommodating. The restaurant is quaint yet comfortable and their hospitality really makes you feel at home. All of the food was delicious, there was a great wine selection and even Booch Craft on draft. Seamless service our entire visit. Thank you so much for the great experience! Can’t wait to bring more friends here! :)

5 /5 Mayra Cervantes: Estefania was an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, she acknowledged me and made sure both me and my kids were taken care of right away. Her warm and attentive service really set the tone for a great dining experience (: The atmosphere here is amazing! Welcoming, vibrant, and perfect for families or just a nice night out. The entire team was fantastic, and I cant forget to shout out the back of house (BOH) team, the food was delicious! You can really tell they put love into every dish.This was my second visit, and I had to come back because I truly enjoyed it the first time. The owner even stopped by to check in, which shows how much they care about their guests. Best of all? Its right down the street from my house. I’m so lucky to have such a great spot nearby. I already love this place, and I’m looking forward to coming back again and again!

4 /5 Dharma M: We recently visited a new Mediterranean restaurant in San Mateo for dinner. When we arrived, the place wasnt too busy. Although the restaurant is relatively small, it features a pleasant bar area. Interior is very nice. The chair may be need more cushion. They offer a variety of white and red wines, but it seems they dont serve cocktails. The menu boasts plenty of options to choose from. We ordered the spread combination, sauted veggie dish, souvlakis tenderloin, souvlakis chicken, and seafood paella. The spread combination came with four types of spreads, all of which were delicious, and the pita bread was still warm. The veggie dish was well-cooked, not overly soft, and the chicken was tender though slightly salty. The tenderloin was tasty, but some parts were a bit tough; a knife for cutting the tenderloin would have been appreciated. The seafood paella was flavorful, but I believe it would be better without the chicken, as it is a seafood dish. The chicken itself was tender, but all-seafood paella would be good enouugh. Overalk the price is reasonable. We ended our meal with a chocolate lava cake, which was delightful and served warm. Overall, it was a good dinner with excellent service.
