The Grind - Auburn

Rating: 4.5 /5
Ryan Brown Best burger in Grass Valley / Auburn by far! They make it all fresh, tons of specialty flavors, and you will go home full! Tried it out and my wife and I loved it and were surprised how much variety they had and how flavorful the burgers were. The place was full of art, sports, and nostalgia. The owners are super friendly and create a great atmosphere. Our new favorite.

Corvus Bakery - Grass Valley

Rating: 4.8 /5
Wade Norton Corvis Bakery is a fun little coffee shop and bakery tucked away in Grass Valley. Everything they bake is 100% gluten-free, which makes it a great stop for anyone with dietary restrictions or just looking for a lighter treat. We sampled a couple of their cupcakes — the chocolate one was a bit of a disappointment, as it seemed older and harder than it should’ve been. However, the carrot cake cupcake more than made up for it — fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. On a recommendation, we also tried the cortado, made with whole milk, and it was excellent — smooth, balanced, and perfectly prepared. We’d definitely return, and we’d be happy to recommend Corvis Bakery to family and friends looking for a cozy spot with gluten-free treats and quality coffee.

Thomas Strehle Beautiful hip and modern space at the Hollywood Roosevelt. Sunday brunch was delicious. The breakfast with pork belly was to die for. Our server Meredith is a rockstar!! Highly recommend!

Grass Valley Pasty Co - Grass Valley

Rating: 4.7 /5
Bob Bently This place is great! This was actually my second visit to this place, originally I stopped by about 2-3 years ago, and it was amazing then also. I got the cousin Jack, and it was amazing. My friends the the pork one, and they loved it. This is only place I’ve ever had a pasty at, and it has certainly set the bar high. The bread on the pasty is so flaky and crispy. You can see the bakers making everything right behind the counter. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I am certainly coming back. It’s on the corner of the street, with a mine cart out front. It’s a cool little gem, that is definitely worth visiting.
