Jessica Berdak Delicious food, warm atmosphere, and friendly service! La Hacienda is one of my favorite spots in Merced for authentic Mexican food. The flavors are fresh and vibrant, and every dish feels made with care. The chips and salsa are always crisp and flavorful, and the entrees are generous in portion without skimping on quality. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest every time. Whether you’re dining in with family or grabbing something to go, you can always count on a great meal here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Mexican food in Merced!

Bruce S. I dont leave a lot of 5 star reviews, but Ethels Fancy deserves it imo! We went to celebrate our anniversary. Though the reservations were all taken, we were able to sit at the bar, which was fine with us. I have to say that all the staff were friendly and attentive. Diane, the bartender, was really nice, and she made cocktails at an amazing speed, and she was smiling the whole time. We drank Lambrusco di Sorbara with our meal that was really good! Wow, our dinner was absolutely amazing! The way the food is plated is beautiful!Everything that we ate was unique, cooked & flavored perfectly, and delicious! We had the Warm Sesame Pancakes, Coconut Fritters, Crispy Pork Belly, "Salt & Pepper" Spanish Octopus, and Grilled Local Black Cod, "Teriyaki ". We like that everything is shareable. For dessert, we were given a delicate corn pudding for our anniversary that was so good! Mickey, the GM, came over and greeted us, and he was so friendly. We were also lucky enough to meet Chef Scott, and briefly chat, hes extremely nice. Since Chef Scott is from Maui, we could see that his staff is treated like Ohana. We will definitely be back soon!

Noel Cantrell I dont know how I didnt know this place was here! My daughter and I went for our first visit tonight and it definitely wont be our last. Everything was cooked perfectly. My daughter is pretty picky about her steaks and she took her first bite and said "Oh wow.... Thats really good" and she couldnt stop complimenting everything on her plate. Service was spot on. Super courteous and helpful with the menu since it was our first visit. Definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Paradise Vision I’ve tried two of their locations. This location isn’t bad. I asked for potatoes but was given unseasoned hash browns. Overall, I’d rate the food a 7/10. The mango lemonade was very sweet and had salt on the rim, which I didn’t expect—I’d rate it a 4/10. The chicken fried steak was a 7/10, and the steak breakfast was also a 7/10. The caramel latte was a little too sweet for my taste, so I’d give it a 6/10.
