California Fish Grill - (Near San Mateo, CA)

1 /5 Carlos javier Garcia: I’ve been coming to have dinner to this place since they opened. Order catering for my branch and for myself. Last week I ordered the coconut shrimps and they try to slide a micro shrimp in my plate. Comes with 2 and both should have a similar size but this time one was a normal one and the other one was super small. I asked the personnel for 2 at a similar size and they did it. Tonight same situation with one of the shrimps super small compared to the other one. I asked again for 2 with the similar size and the manager Jorge refused to do it because according to him they come in different sizes. I had restaurants before and that’s an issue with your vendor your customers are not the one suffering or paying for the lack of quality standards in the selections of the product. Don’t come to this place looks like they are trying to save money sacrificing the quality and the customer service. I won’t come back again and let everyone know about this.

1 /5 Mo W: I have been coming here and ordering take out for a long time. My order today was so bad. The a la carte salmon had a triangle cut out of it and the chicken strips were burnt. The shrimp had chunky burnt stuff stuck to it. Not sure I’ll go back again.

5 /5 Jeff Ho: We came for lunch at 11am. It was a nice day and we ate at their outside patio. The food came out fairly fast. Thats a good thing for people that need to punch in/out on their time cards. We had a clam chowder $8, shrimp avocado salad $14, salmon power bowl $13 and a side of Mexican street corn $5. No complaints. The food was fresh and delicious. Service is as expected for a order at the counter restaurant. Good job staff at Fish Grill.

4 /5 Shinyi Li: Good food and pretty quick, but ordering screens are way too sensitive to touch and resulted in me getting a side I didn’t want (happened probably 5 times where I was just scrolling and something was randomly added to the cart). Also have no clue why the same side salad was way bigger for one entree than for the other entree.
