California Fish Grill -Food CA (Near San Mateo)

Mary T Popped in twice in the last week. Both times at Happy Hour which for the winter season runs 3pm-closing. Friday our bartender was Jeff who made very good Old Fashioned and guided us to the Ceviche Tostadas. Excellent. Fresh fish with a light salsa on crisp tostadas. Our second pop in was a Tuesday night after a movie at Marina Pacifica (short walk over but theres plenty of parking in the lot at SPFM. Tonight Brandon poured some good Old Fashioneds as well. We checked out the Chowda fries - crisp and with a light chowder sauce on them. We did 3 tacos (a Tuesday & Wednesday special:3 for $12.99 and you can mix and match). Two fish one and one pork belly. All great. We didnt need it but we ordered some guacamole (fresh made) and chips. Ricardo the manager stopped by to check if we were good. Quiet evening there but I highly recommend this place especially during the quiet winter months. Atmosphere a bit on the franchise side but otherwise good.

Tasha Spaniel We waited an hour for a table, but it was worth the wait! Service was wonderful, the food was delicious and my husband enjoyed his mimosa. I thought the coffee was quite good as well. Large menu with lots of options for many diets. Definitely recommend if youre looking for a yummy breakfast/brunch/lunch in Lake Tahoe.

Justin K Delicious seafood combos you order at the counter. Not very busy on a Tuesday night. You can get dessert from yogurtland down the block. We had the cioppino, paella, and fish and chips. Yum!

Fabio Soto Had a an amazing time celebrating our Holiday Brunch with our office team. It was a very large party of 13 and they handled it flawlessly. Drinks were insanely good and food was in time and super delicious. The chilaquiles with the steak was over the top. Highly recommend.

Brandon Baker Im not sure about service or atmosphere since my boss bought the pizza, but the pizza was awesome. Tons of toppings like a pizza should be. A little steep on price, but you did get a lot. Picture doesnt do it justice, this was after we picked it up and took it back to the hotel. I ended up eating the second half for breakfast.
