A & R Custom Butchering Retail Meats and Deli - Red Bluff

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ron Gieck This is a real butcher shop. Steaks, chops, burger and much more. The best deli counter is the city. In house made sandwiches are absolutely delicious and well worth the stop. So much wonderful in one building should be illegal.

Take Ur Seat Too - Ontario

Unknown User First, if youre looking for good food, try this place out! We came to celebrate daughters birthday before heading out of town. We enjoyed everything! My husband & I ordered the pandan sweetea; our server said it was pretty sweet, which it is, but it was really good! Hubby usually doesnt like too sweet, but didnt complain about this drink. Definitely recommend as long as you like pandan. The Belly 2 Belly was very good. We ordered it with garlic rice because we love garlic, however, Im pretty sure it wouldve been good the usual way it comes too. Ordering it with the garlic rice didnt make it too garlicky, but rather spiced it just right - cant say enough about how good it was! We ordered the Cloud Pancake (Very Berry(?)), not the flavor-of-the-month one, to share. They warn you that it will take 30-min. to make, so reviews complaining of the wait time is unwarranted. I was pleasantly surprised how very light (not heavy or "filling") it was. I dont usually like carb-based items (yes, including rice) because they usually fill me up too much. However, I was able to eat most of one pancake AFTER I was full from eating my ordered dish! That usually never happens! In fact, I had asked for a box to take it home, but ate a bite or two before placing it into the box &, before I knew it, most of the pancake was gone & the box was no longer needed! I will say, though, that I wasnt a fan of the sauce it comes with. Not that the sauce wasnt good, but I thought it was almost too much flavor. I preferred eating it with the whipped cream & fruit it comes with. I felt the fruit & cream enhanced the flavor of the pancakes while the sauce overwhelmed it. I tried to use the syrup (provided on the table, like salt & pepper), but all the syrup did was provide sweetness; it didnt do anything else for the pancake. My daughter ordered the pandan latte with ube foam on top. The ube foam was an add-on (costs a little extra). Like another reviewer said, it tasted pretty much like espresso & cream, but I thought it was still good. It had a slight taste of the pandan. The ube foam was good, & mixed into the drink only made the drink taste better - very subtly, but better. Lastly, I felt the service was good & friendly. I read some reviewers who did not like the service, but the person taking our order let us know right away that we could ask any of the other servers for anything, if needed. All the servers responded kindly with any requests & it seemed like ALL of them passed by at one time or another asking if we needed anything. Cute decorations, great food, & wonderful service. Definitely will come back!

The Cruisery - Santa Barbara

Rating: 4.4 /5
Preeti Tata We hosted our wedding weekend welcome party with The Cruisery and had a fantastic experience. Communication was easy from the start, and the space felt spacious enough for our group of around 70 guests while still maintaining a fun, intimate atmosphere. There was plenty of room for conversation areas, a dance floor, and easy mingling. The bartenders were friendly, fast, and kept the energy high throughout the night. One of the best parts was how helpful Aaron, the manager, was during our last-minute venue scramble due to a severe rainstorm. He was incredibly accommodating and proactive, offering us their sister property — Unbearable Skee Lodge — at a very competitive rate given the short notice. That space is amazing in its own right: a stylish ski-chalet vibe without feeling kitschy, with comfy couch seating, high tops for easy conversation, and fun skee-ball arcade games that our guests loved. They also gave very thoughtful guidance on ordering, which helped us meet our food & beverage minimum without going under or significantly over — a rare and appreciated level of transparency. Being able to bring in our own friend to DJ was another huge plus. We highly recommend The Cruisery (and Unbearable Skee Lodge) for welcome parties, rehearsal events, or private group gatherings — especially if you want a flexible venue with great service and a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

M D This place was buzzing after 530p with almost all the seats taken inside and outside! Looks like a good happy hour. We ate at a table before a symphony show and it is a very short walk to the performance theaters. Noticed a number of people ordering the hamburger and fries (and boy did they look good)! Cauliflower appetizer had a nice flavor and a little edge (spiciness) to it. The salmon on the latkies had a good amount of salmon and a good crunch. My niece had the melt in your mouth gnocchi with the right amount of sauce. Will be back to try some more items!

Beach Town Traveler I had the most lovely experience here on a quiet afternoon. I ordered a hot carafe of coffee paired with hot milk. I was very pleased to see that it came with a side of baguette and a cup of fruit. It was the perfect light snack that made me want to come back for more. The menu looks truly amazing, so I will be returning soon. Please give this small business a try instead of going to McDonalds across the street!

Din Tai Fung - Anaheim

Rating: 4.3 /5
Chong Yu Yun Din Tai Fung consistently lives up to its reputation for quality, precision, and comfort food done right. From the moment you’re seated, the service feels attentive yet efficient, reflecting the brand’s strong standards. The highlight, of course, is the **xiao long bao**—delicate skin, perfectly pleated, and filled with flavorful broth and tender meat. Each basket is remarkably consistent, which is impressive given how technical the dish is. Other dishes like the **shrimp fried rice**, **steamed dumplings**, and **braised beef noodle soup** are equally satisfying, offering clean flavors without being overly heavy. Ingredients taste fresh, portions are reasonable, and the menu strikes a good balance between classic staples and lighter options. While prices are on the higher side for casual Chinese dining, the quality, hygiene, and consistency make it worth it. Overall, Din Tai Fung is a reliable choice whether you’re dining with family, entertaining guests, or simply craving well-executed Taiwanese cuisine. It may not be experimental, but it delivers excellence in what it does best—every time.
