El Pulgarcito Restaurant - (Near Bakersfield, CA)

Ann Nguyen We were looking for a place to eat near the museum and found one with a LIVS yellow sign. We charged our Tesla nearby and walked to the restaurant for brunch. The place has a fresh yellow concept with a nice fountain at the front entrance. The lobster roll is delicious, with crunchy bread and a tasty signature sauce. The cheese blintz is a great option for a sweet breakfast. Service is good, I love this place!

zoua lor I took my boyfriend yesterday for his birthday. We went during dinner and it was an amazing experience! The servers were quick to serve us! I got the prime short braised ribs and he got a vegetarian pasta dish! The food is delicious and quality is amazing! Ive been to some fine dining places and felt the braised ribs were a day old but everything tasted fresh here! I love the decorations and people do dress cute here! Will def go back!

Catalina Gutierrez Food was delicious! Focaccia with anchovy dip was my fave although the carrots were a close second! We were walk ins and it almost seemed like they wouldn’t be able to seat us so probably best to make a res on the weekend. Other than that the service was on point and the open kitchen was nice to see the masters at work with such a confident demeanor! Highly recommend!

Anthony Ortiz Heard that this new place recently took over the old Pampas location and decided to give it a try. The food and service was amazing. The servers were quick and easy to talk to. The lunch specials are amazingly cheap and kind of unbelievable. They also give state employees an additional discount!! The food was amazing and the quality of it was excellent. My favorite thing was the full salad bar and the grilled pineapple. The salad bar was packed with almost anything you can think of. I will definitely be coming back to this place and be highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and time.

BayAreaSun Came in for my birthday dinner and the food was so delicious. My only gripe is the small dishes that they put the veggies in, the portions were small but it was unlimited. We had the Premium Kalbijjim and it was amazing. The Jogae Kal Guksu was flavorful and the broth was as perfect. We also had two soups that were flavorful as well. October 31, 2025 dinner doors opened at 430pm Sharpe. Highly recommend.

mari S. Today we visited El Jardín de los Sueños Cafe ( Garden of Dreams Cafe) It was crowded but the service was spot on. The ladies serving worked fast and the hot chocolate we order was yummy. The neat thing about this Cafe is that they have a childrens play space . They have childrens books a doll house and toys. Food wise they have regular Cafe drinks but their hot chocolate has delicious cinnamon. They have omelettes, Bagels ,Sandwiches . protein smoothies and fresh juices. They also carry a variety of candy from Mexico and el salvador. There is also an outdoor seating area. Today being Saturday it was crowded but there was plenty of standing space. I loved the livelyness of the Cafe and overall it was a very interesting place to visit. I think this is a great place for families or for friends to meet.
