Empress Tavern - (Near Sacramento, CA)

Mina I did reserved for my anniversary, they offered me the package with roses,chocolates and champagne. The quality of food was amazing. The service also was great. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful night and good experience.

Granum Lance (TheDudeRN) Hidden in the middle of a strip mall, a bit of Class A, a bit of Elegance, a bit of upscale. The prices reflect the upscale atmosphere, but not to the extreme that some might expect. Some things are expensive, while others are not. You can have a great dinner, and depending on how hungry you are, you will have an excellent meal for the price. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the accompanying vegetables were also excellent. The baked potato was the best Ive had in a long time. The layout for the baked potato was done in a classy, individual serving style. Our party had a great time. We were not pressured or overindulged by the wait staff, and the waitress was excellent. This is the best dining experience Ive had in Fresno in years. Although it is at the upper end of my affordability scale, I will put it on my list of two to three times a year. And try to get back there for a special event, maybe a quiet dinner with just someone special. I did not break out the camera for much in the way of food or photos. I will review that on the next trip. This was really just about the experience and the company. The company was great. The friends enjoyed the meal, and we all had a good time. A party of four, our seating time in the booth was about 2 hours. The dinner check was over $200 for four people, but thats not too bad considering some of them had cocktails and some of us didnt. Guess who did not? Thats right, the 35 year long designated driver.One day at a time! I will be back, I guarantee it. Thank you for a fantastic night, Manhattan!35-year-long

Ashley Beshears This place was incredible! The had amazing and unique options. The staff was amazing! This was definitely worth my 3 hour drive. The place has a nice vibe. It was quite, but played music. We even sparked up a conversation with the other patrons a few tables down. It was such a good time!

mindy ann Absolutely incredible. My first time here and my husband and I were sat by Micheal who was friendly and handed us an open menu and made things feel so inviting. Shay was our server and she was awesome, very well spoken, very informed on the menu, and checked on us consistently. The young girl dropping off the food was also incredibly nice… I truly haven’t had service like this as long as I can remember. The food was absolutely 10/10. We got some appetizers that were delicious and I was impressed with how hot everything came out, like it hit the plate and was walked out the door immediately. This has by far the best steak in town, well over even the fancy “steak houses”. Lastly the price was very reasonable even after we splurged a bit. Can’t wait to come back and bring my in-laws!

Enea Ostrich The wait was typical for a restaurant that makes their dishes from scratch:). Superb food. I really liked their Chilean Sea Bass with two large shrimp (they really looked like prawns to me!). It was over a scrumptious risotto. My husband had the Short Rib Pasta (there was a longer name but it reminded me of a ragu). Anyhow our party of 7 had wonderful foods prior to the main meal too. There was a prosciutto burrata appetizer that w as nice and also the calamari fritti was fried lightly and tasty by husband said. I think that overall we all had a grand New Years Eve at Antonellos. It was decorated really nice for the holidays.

Kelsey Jones All the food we had was great: the poached shrimp cocktail, dungeness crab drip--these were our favorite items, also had sea scallops really good, the wagu burger- really good, the chowder -- liked it but liked old fishermans grotto one better. We had a very kind server that very accommodating, the atmosphere was wonderful. We loved sitting out on the patio looking at the water and saw lots of seals/sea lions swimming!
