The café had a cozy and inviting atmosphere.The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The menu offered a great variety of food and beverages, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. I enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate while watching local hockey game.The food options were equally satisfying, with tasty snacks and light meals perfect for a quick bite between skating sessions. What impressed me the most was the convenience of the cafés location. Being right next to the ice rink meant that we could easily take a break from skating and grab a refreshment without venturing too far. It added a lot of convenience to the overall experience. Overall, the ice rink café provided a delightful combination of good food, friendly service, and a picturesque view of the ice rink. Whether youre a skater or a spectator, its a great spot to relax, enjoy some refreshments, and soak in the lively atmosphere.

Ryan Rupley ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Experience at Lola Rose Grand Mezze We ordered the Grand Mezze, and from start to finish we were genuinely amazed. The assortment alone is impressive—an incredible variety of dishes—and every single item delivered on flavor, quality, and presentation. First off, the portion sizes are excellent for the price. You get a generous amount of food, and the range of flavors makes it feel like a full culinary experience rather than just a meal. The octopus was cooked perfectly—tender, not rubbery—with a beautiful char that added a great depth of flavor. It was paired with assorted beans and spices that leaned slightly curry-like, which worked incredibly well together. The char was a standout in the best way. We also tried their signature upside-down rice, and it was a total flavor and texture bomb. The crispy bottom added an amazing crunch and was such a creative twist on traditional basmati rice. The beet salad was another highlight—an assortment of different beets with an earthy yet fresh profile. Throughout the entire meal, you could really taste how intentional the spice blends and flavor combinations were. Every dish had its own personality. The homemade falafel was clearly made fresh—no chewiness at all, perfectly crisp outside and soft inside. Paired with the sauces and fresh cucumbers, it hit the spot. For drinks, we tried their house martini and an old fashioned, and both were excellent—well balanced and thoughtfully done. If I had to note one small downside, the pita bread wasn’t the best I’ve had. That said, the bread served with the kebabs was fantastic, so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We ordered both the lamb and tenderloin kebabs, and they were massive. The char was perfect, and there was a bright hit of lemon or acid that really brought everything together. The sides—fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, green peppers, and multiple sauces—rounded the dish out beautifully. The dessert was surprisingly large and absolutely delivered. From the bottom crust to the creamy, frothy top, the textures and flavors were spot on. On top of the food, the restaurant itself is beautiful, with ample seating and plenty of space—we were just two people and felt very comfortable. The service was excellent, with staff fully engaged and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, this is easily a top-tier restaurant. We were impressed across the board and will absolutely be back. Highly recommended.

Their single-origin offerings are clearly treated with care, and you can taste the quality in every cup. Bright, well-balanced, and expertly brewed — this is legit specialty coffee done right. Huge bonus points for the vegan food options, which are genuinely good and not an afterthought. Thoughtful, flavorful choices that pair perfectly with the coffee and make this a spot you can come back to again and again. Great atmosphere, great coffee, great people. If you care about quality coffee and a well-designed space, Witness is an easy must-visit.
