Todd Schwiesow This is a great example of a well managed restaurant. I wish there were more like this! It starts immediately when you walk in and notice the pleasantly elegant yet understated decor. The tables, the glass and silverware are all beautiful. The service is prompt and exceptionally professional. There is an interesting original cocktail menu and a decent wine selection. The menu is concise and creative, balancing traditional offerings with new ideas. Our table tried a variety of the offerings from the salmon to the schnitzel. It was all good! The smaller size menu still has enough variety for everyone to find something they like. The desert options are also quite tasty. If youre looking for elegant European food in a lovely setting you must attend! Reservations recommended.

Mary P Visited September 26th...always see my receipt as proof! This place had great reviews in Chico and they were right! Beautiful and sleek inside and out! I love suishi and I ordered the Red dragon because it was spicy! YUM! My boyfriend had the California roll which he enjoyed. BEST was the baby back ribs! YES...their ribs melted right off the bone in a slightly sticky and awesome concoction! Beautiful presentation on all dishes! We also had a glass of wine and a local IPA. They have an extended area that also serves hard alcohol along with beer..wine..sake and specialty drinks. We got there when they opened at 1130am and it was nice and cool inside! They also have outdoor seating that is shaded! It was a Great experience! Thank you Regan and the two awesome suishi chefs...Charlie ( cute petite gal) and Syrjah (i didnt spell his name right..awesome man bun.). Professional and friendly and show pride in what they do! Love the location because its walking distance to shops! I will be back! 5 star service...classy yet unpretentious and relaxing!

Jarred Pinn We went for so many things in the menu and they were all terrific! Oyster warmed over coals, smoked oxtail dashi, pickled onion Bluefin crudo, strawberry, rhubarb, mint Carrots charred, preserved huckleberry, honeycomb, fromage blanc Charred broccoli, chermoula, lime, peanut Pork belly smoked, rainbow carrot, pistachios Koji dry aged ribeye, chimichurri Potato Au gratin with double smoked bacon, charred onion and raclette cheese Passion fruit sorbet Baked Alaska to finish it off. Service was excellent, ambiance was very nice for a date. It’s mid and family friendly too.

Rhonda Allen Its Saturday and we made a reservation just in case. It was our first time so I thought better safe than sorry. We got our table quickly, by the bar. It was busy. Very quickly the bartender came over and asked what wed like to drink. My husband got a coke and I ordered a glass of Michael and David even though it was $10.50 a glass for a local wine. He came back fast with our drinks and the wine pour was good for the price. He asked if we were ready to order and we were so we got avacado fries, fish and shrimp plate, and filet minion dinner. The avacado fries came and my husband and I both LOVED them. They have jalapeño in them too, perfect heat and creamy goodness with a crunch thats satisfying for texture. I told my husband "If this is how good dinner is going to be, Im excited. " He agreed. Our dinners arrived and my steak was cooked perfectly, it came with delicious garlic potatoes and asparagus cooked well. I usually am unable to eat a whole plate and always try to get a 6oz steak because I can usually finish it, but did especially well on the 8oz tonight due to it being so good. I only had one bite left that I really wanted to eat lol. The mashed potatoes portion was substantially large compared to the meat so I wasnt able to finish those, but they were very good. My husbands fish plate had good sized shrimp, crispy/flakey fish, and a large portion of fries as well. My husband mentioned that his plate was a large size for the price and delicious. We regularly had servers asking us if we needed anything and could see they were ALL working hard individually but together to give all guests great service. I am DEFINITELY coming back here and am actually looking forward to bringing family and friends to enjoy as well. The atmosphere can be loud, as I said we were right next to the bar, but I imagine that can be rectified by a table selection if your looking for intimacy. The food can seem a bit pricey, but its delicious and service is great. Its a nice place but you dont need to dress up fancy. Its casual. Like nice casual. Dont wear sweats, wear jeans and a nice shirt. Or a cute dress.

Justin K Great service. Atmosphere is lively. It was completely packed by the time we left at 8pm. Reservation is recommended. Even the bar seats were filled - so it may be hard for a walk-in. The portion size was in the smaller end. We ordered about 2 appetizers, 2 smaller, 2 veggies and 2 platters. The whole chicken did the job of filling us up - could have had more spices. It was a little bland. However, the other smaller dishes were great.
