Konocti Harbor Resort - (Near Kelseyville, CA)

2 /5 Lori Richmond: While the staff was helpful. I do have to agree with the majority of people here, the rooms were not particularly clean. For me, the thing that really upset me, was the fact that they knowingly gave us rooms knowing that there was an issue with the water in the building. The water in our room never got hot. The shower handle just spun round and round. These were not inexpensive rooms, I think it was unconscionable to charge so much and not be able to use the shower comfortably....and the resort new that when they rented out the rooms to us. When I mentioned that at checkout the woman at the desk advised me they were aware of the issue.

5 /5 Shelley Kinney: We took our first trip to Konocti Harbor Resort and Spa on Saturday night. What a blast from the past! My husband and I had never been there before, but wow! You can feel the nostalgia everywhere you look. What an amazing place. I remember hearing about the concerts and spa when I was growing up, and it was definitely the place to be. I’m so happy they’re working on bringing it back to life, and I hope they can restore it to something close to what it once was. I truly can’t wait to see what they do with the place. The lobby was clean, and the pool area was beautiful. I love that you can get drinks poolside. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Andy’s Tavern. I had the ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a small basil, tomato, and mozzarella salad. My husband had a bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings and French fries. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. They had a live band scheduled from 8 to 11 p.m. playing jazz, R&B, soul, and Motown. We couldn’t stay for the show, but we were there during their sound check and wished they had been playing while we were eating dinner. It sounded fantastic. We can’t wait to go back!

4 /5 delane larson: Great location, rooms are cute and have a great view. The resort has so much potential and I have no doubt it will be back to the way it was someday. My key wasn’t working for my room so that was kinda inconvenient but things happen. The pool is really nice and they have a great DJ. Food is really good but you do have to wait awhile for service unfortunately! The staff is very nice and they try to be very accommodating! The place has some work to be done but it has charm and it will just get better with time. Overall it’s a sweet lil gem! Looking forward to seeing it blossom.

2 /5 Nabulungi Akinshegun: The property is not up kept well at all. Our room was full of spiders and spider webs. The windows and floors were filthy and the balcony was filthy and full of spiders. The staff was wonderful and did what they could to help us but it never stopped the spiders because the front door is not sealed, with a half inch gap at the top of the door. Very unsafe. The decks on the front side were in bad shape and filthy and had a lot of spiders and webs. It was just so disappointing! And when I left a message for the hotel manager he never responded. Very disappointing. This property used to be nice but its gone way down hill. I wont stay here again. I do not recommend.

3 /5 Jessica Perri: We stayed at Konocti Harbor for a wedding. The venue is really cool and you can see the potential for this place to be great again. Unfortunately, it’s a little bit of a time capsule from a once booming resort. There were some cool staff members but mostly service was slow, the crowd was sparse and the food was so-so. Seems like the punch list of repairs and modernization is so long it’s hard to know where they should start. Suffice it to say, without additional improvements, I wouldn’t go back.
