Le Croissant Restaurant - (Near San Rafael, CA)

Heather Rushton Great Italian food on the West Coast is hard to find, at least for me after moving back from the East Coast. This restaurant completely changed my mind about West Coast Italian fare. I love this place and will recommend it to everyone. It’s tucked away off the beaten path in Santa Monica, with excellent service and food that truly delivers. I ordered the Pici Guanciale e Cipolla, and it was the best pasta I have ever had. Worth every penny. The prices are fair, but honestly, if it cost double, I would still have finished every bite. It felt like a little Italian grandma with a fiery attitude was in the back making it just for me. After a long day on the coast, it hit the spot. Everything is fresh and made from scratch in house. I can’t wait to go back. I shared a picture of an empty plate because it was that good!

Morgan Bakowsky The servers are supper knowledgeable and attentive. The space sort of has the traditional tavern vibe and nice decor. Ive had the cappellini e pomodoro and its the best pasta I have ever had. I always make sure to eat too much bread before my pasta so I have leftovers the next day (its even better the second day)

Henry Ting Cash Only. There are 2 MUST REVISIT places every time that I come here: one is Patisserie Boissiere for their French onion soup and salad combo, and the second is Katys Place for breakfast. They have over 15 variations of Eggs Benedict, everything from a more traditional style to a lobster eggs Benedict. They can also do the same dozen styles but in an omelet. The 2 of us shared the corned beef eggs Benedict and pancakes short stack. My favorite must-have is their huge, fluffy buttermilk pancakes with a side of Canadian maple syrup. OMG. Our 2 pancakes were big enough for the 4 of us to share. One the best. Great service. But CASH ONLY.

Rhiannon Chae The food is so good! We got the steak sandwhich and the spicy peach flatbread. Delicious! Mango jalapeño margarita was good too. Nice waitresses!

Kristen Bodily My gawd my gawd. I love sea food! But I am really picky about my sauce. This place did not disappoint. I got 1/2 lb bag of shrimp and added potatoes and corn. I got the mild sauce. Amazing. The sauce was perfection. I wish it was more in the bag. Finger licking good! Will return. I would take a picture but I ate it so fast all that’s left is shells and a bag lol.
