No crowds, no chaos—just a peaceful, intimate experience. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and seated us in a cozy little nook right by a large window. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the vibe. Honestly, it felt like a hidden gem. Now for the desserts: The Pot de Crème (chocolate) was absolutely divine—smooth, rich, and decadent. A must-try. The Napoleon was just okay—visually beautiful, but it didn’t quite deliver the same wow factor. All in all, it is a lovely spot with ambiance and dessert to match. Highly recommend for a quiet evening or romantic date night.

Sasha Davila One of my favorite places to come eat and enjoy the view of the lake. Love the large bar area where you can just walk in 1st come 1st served and the fire place with live music occasionally throughout the year. I love coming for fish taco Fridays in the winter where they do a raffle every hour when you buy a drink or fish taco around 6-9ish. They post events on insta and online. I love their food and especially the deviled eggs, pomegranate ribs, soups, salads with salmon added, bacon burger, and salmon plates. I always bring anyone visiting me here for the ambience and service. Reservation recommended during peak season.

Jeff Morena Great steak & combo options with a reasonable price! My wife & I were able to split a 16 oz steak + 4 shrimp combo + 2 sides + Ceasar salads for less than $100. The steak was perfectly grilled to medium rare, the shrimp was not overcooked & the sides were fantastic! There are lots of menu selections & combo options + the atmosphere was semi-fancy + there wasnt loud, obnoxious music playing like most restaurants. Will definitely be back when were in Santa Barbara!

The Nicols Team Great dining experience - impeccable service. If you appreciate quality and fresh food you should check this place out. I loved that it offered a casual dining atmosphere yet quality wasn’t compromised. Thoroughly enjoyed everything from the deviled eggs to the New York steak! I have to say the scallops were my favorite though … the Singapore sling is an amazing cocktail in an tiki mug and I don’t really even like gin! And the coffee profiteroles delicious - they just need to add some seasoning berries lol Wonderful service, professional staff, great wine list - we will definitely be back!
