Manna - (Near San Francisco, CA)

Tyler Baker My wife and I went to Cafe Fina to celebrate ) my birthday. Although we are local, we had not eaten on the Fishermans Wharf before. Cafe Fina had good reviews, and we like both Italian food and fish, so we gave it a chance. We had a great meal. Our server Leonard (I think, it was an "L") was friendly and gave good advice about the menu. We decided to share two appetizers and a main dish. Leonard made it easy for us to share, bringing extra plates and utensils. I had a cupl of clam chowder which was thick and creamy and very tasty. My wife ordered crab cakes had got two large delicious cakes. Our main was the house special petrale sole which was a great piece of fish that was perfectly cooked with a light crust and a delicate cream sauce. It included wonderfully sautéed vegetables and light orzo pasta. It was plenty for the two of us after the appetizers. The wharf has the feel of a state fair, with a lot of people, lights and noise, but inside the restaurant it was quiet and attractive and easy to talk to each other. The desserts looked good, but we were full and happy so we will have to review them another time. Overall, we had a really high quality meal and experience at Cafe Fina.

Marquise Martin We had Gloria as our server she was incredibly attentive, the portions are massive, the food is great, the drinks were spectacular, the booths are soft and the ambiance is really true to the diner aesthetic

Robin Maleche Small taqueria next to a grocery store that has some of the best pupusas around. I had the frijoles (bean) & calabaza (pumpkin) pupusas served with a lettuce salad and optional dressing. It was served fresh and just right by lovely hosts for a refreshing experience. The prices are great. Make sure to pay them a visit.

Lotte Chittawattana I come to this Yard House pretty often, but tonight really stood out. I brought my mom here for Thanksgiving dinner, and even though the place was packed, I was impressed! Not just by how fast the food came out, but by the amazing service. I know the staff had a long, busy day, yet they never fail to deliver. Everyone was still friendly, smiling and welcoming just like always. I truly appreciate it. Thank you for making our night such a great one. I’ll definitely be back!

Sarah S I’m rarely in Roseville, so the first chance I had, I decided to grab tacos at Nixtaco. I totally understand the hype and Michelin recognition. They have a really diverse taco menu. Personally I love all sorts of savory, meaty tacos, but I love to be wowed by flavorful vegetarian options. I went with a combination taco so I could try a bit of the raja con queso as well as their shrimp mazatian. I had the short rib barbacoa and pork al pastor tacos as well. I think my favorite was the al pastor as it was perfect as is. I didn’t add any salsa for heat or flavor - although the flight of salsa and chips was delicious on its own. The service deserves a standalone paragraph. I didn’t catch the hostess’s name but she greeted me quickly and told me about the happy hour specials as I was there at 3:30 on a Wednesday. My server’s name was Christina and she had great recommendations. She checked in moments after each item arrived. The food came out incredibly quickly while looking fresh and tasting great. Thanks for the late lunch!

Muting Ma It was little difficult to find the place because the sign doesn’t say bobjip but east bay eat. Very cool inside, no service unless you call out to them. Plenty of clean space to eat. Anyway great kimbap, we went all the way to Hayward to get it. Beef, egg and special Kimbap. Kinda regret getting the special one instead of tuna mayo because the flavor the spam is too strong for me. The flavor I don’t think goes well still nice presentation! I do like the other two. I will try again.
