Mimis Cafe - (Near Modesto, CA)

DYJ1948 They’ve expanded the restaurant and took over the space next door. Basically there’s no waiting like it used to be. We were there around 1:30 pm on a Monday and was immediately seated (for two)! No waiting at all. Service was friendly and very very quick! Probably about 4-5 minutes after our order we got our food which was deceptively served in small bowls. But there was a lot of food and noodles. The broth was sublime as expected, the noodles perfectly al dente (small thin) with really tender pieces of pork. It was delicious and service was excellent but it was sooo noisy inside? It was hard to talk but for this incredible ramen, it’s worth it!!

Aaliyah S Redwood City BBQ OMG!! I was a little iffy walking in since the place was empty, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bathrooms are located outside, and while the indoor seating is small, they do have a nice outdoor seating area—I decided to sit outside! Now, let me tell you… this is hands down the BEST BBQ I have ever had. The food literally melted in my mouth!! Every single bite had me saying, “OMG.” I kept wanting to order more just to try everything, but I had to hold back and save it for my next visit. This spot is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so glad I found it. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Makena Berchem Been coming here since I was a kid. Best waffles in town. They are light, fluffy & crispy. Service is always great, but expect a wait for a table! Come early and put your name in.

Maverick Sy Went in at 2pm on a Friday. No problems parking at a free street parking. We were immediately seated as soon as we arrived. Food was lovely. Ordered Camarones Pequeños (small fried breaded shrimp) as an appetizer, Ropa Vieja (braised shredded beef w/ fried plantains & rice) and a Cubano Sandwich (ham, roast pork, cheese on a crispy baguette) Service was solid, server checked in often and gave contextual info on the orders. Atmosphere was nice, had a nice dive bar feel music-wise. Therevs an indoor and outdoor section. And a place for people that want to smoke.

ashley Ireland FAVORITE PLACE IN THE HIGH DESERT. We come here often. The food never fails us and the service is truly amazing everytime we go. The girls always great us. Been going since I was pregnant with my daughter and they all love her in there. Check it out you won’t regret it

Dharma M Very nice japanese, Thai and Vietnamese fusion restaurant. I have been planning to visit since it opened couple years a a go. It is small restaurant with table and counter top bar seating. The menu is simple and it changes frequently. Looks like lunch menu is different than dinner menu. You order at the front and pay first. We ordered Chicken rice, Thai fried chicken, and seafood Khao Yum lettuce wrap. All are yummy. I love the light taste of all of the dishes. Will visit again to try others dishes.
