Ismael Cuadra The place is clean and welcoming as soon as you walk in, and the pizza has that great gameday taste—comforting, bold, and really satisfying.

The Iron Press - Anaheim

Rating: 4.4 /5
J V West Coast Philly, Back Again Visiting family on our West Coast swing I took a chance on Iron Press. I was not disappointed and would recommend anyone that likes a good gastropub to partake. When walking up to the establishment you see the Americana setting and gorgeous beer taps in the center. Super cool and and friendly management, who were attentive as I was the first customer of the day. I got the Cheesesteak and waffles fries. A hearty portion of good steak and enough peppers and onions to make the meal filling. The cheese was quite tasty albeit a little skimpy in the portion which heled keep it from being a mess. The peppers were sweet and matched well with the cheese. Overall, Id give the sandwich a 8 out of ten. Not bad for Cali, ;D. Id recommend this place to SoCal familairs and visitors alike.

Pomet - Oakland

Rating: 4.7 /5
Alireza Tavassoli We dined at Pomet for my wifes birthday and we were thoroughly pleased with the service and the food. This was the first time that we went to a $$$-$$$$ restaurant in the Bay Area and left fully happy. We ordered the butter lettuce salad, egg pudding and Korean quail for starters. The salad was delicious, pudding really good but the quail was the winner of the 3, smoky, tender and cooked to perfection. For mains we started with the duck which was super tasty. We finished with the steak and it was incredible. Really good, the winner of the night. We paired everything with a bottle of Zinfandel from their wine menu. It was probably the best Zinfandel that weve had for a while. For desert, we order the chiffon and we enjoyed every bite of it. Not overly sweet and creamy, just the right amount! Thank you Pomet!

The Lemon Drop - Mariposa

Katrina Mazack Again on a road trip from Oregon to who knows where and found the best refreshment on this very warm October day!! A lavender lemonade! So refreshing and delicious!! There is a great variety of lemonade flavors and an amazing gift shop with items that are very unique!! The owner is so kind and helpful. She recommended a lunch spot that is my next review!! She was right, the food was so good!! Best fajitas I have ever had!! When you are in Mariposa, CA do not pass up the Lemon Drop!!

Lazy Dough - Long Beach

Christopher T Looking for some place for good breakfast and café. Saw this place so give it a try since it still needs (within 3months, I believed). First impression, cute and funky great vibe joint since they still have Halloween decor. Its a clean and spacious with plenty of bright light from outside since its on the corner and windows around it. They do have inside and patio seating. The breakfast menu is nice with plenty of selective. The foods are tasty, unique and with new concept of west meets east taste. The café choices are quite interesting, I got the Dubai espresso latte, and quite frankly, nice and smooth...just abit of sweet but lovely. Great service since I was the 1st one in so I got all the attention. The wait for the foods was long (12-15mins) but it just opens plus only one operates so they have to get things started so understandable. Definitely come back to try others for sure. They do have pizza and others for lunch and dinner so. Their baked goods look yummy, they just brought it out since they were baking in while I had my breakfast. Its an open kitchen so you can see the cooks preparing the foods. Prices wise, not bad at all.

Overland Cafe - Hanford

Isaac DeLaCruz A gem in Hanford. My wife and I loved the "cowgirl burger". I wouldnt normally go for corned beef and hash, but I tried their special out since it was almost St. Pattys day, and Im glad I did. Tasted like good home cooking. Cool to check out the live cow auction as we stepped out of the cafe as well. Overall - satisfied and will return.
