James Artichoke My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Melvyn’s Thanksgiving. We arrived a little early but they offered to seat us right away. The hosts at the front were very friendly and cordial. We were very happy with our table location, frankly, we felt like big shots! We were greeted by Shelly our server very warmly! From the get go my wife and I agreed she is a (Professional) front of house veteran. Throughout our whole dining experience she was in step and a pleasant dinner guide. Our food was delicious! Our steaks and sides were cooked to perfection, the cocktails, wine and dessert made for night we will remember for a very long time, especially it being on a very busy Holiday as it was. When going out on a Holiday sometimes you have experiences that sometimes end up short. Thankfully this one was not the case. Thanks to everyone at Melvyn’s for serving us, you created a night that only few can achieve. We look forward to spending another special occasion with you all of you when life throws us an opportunity! Thank you again!

Galla Sai Vasudha Had dinner here on my anniversary,it has the best view in sandiego, food was amazing, service was great, ambience is pretty quiet and relaxing, good happy hour menu 3-5:30. My favorite was steamed muscles, fried calamari and lobster mac and cheese, highly recommended. Topped us off with desserts to mark our occasion. Thanks for the experience will definitely come back.

Brian Brower We stayed at Hotel Angeleno and ate at West Restaurant and Lounge our entire trip—and it was absolutely outstanding. The food, service, and views were all amazing. We enjoyed breakfast, evening drinks, dinner, and dessert, and every single meal was top-notch. What we loved most was the atmosphere. The restaurant was never crowded, making it the perfect quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of West LA. You can actually enjoy a conversation without raising your voice, which is rare in Los Angeles. The staff went above and beyond to take care of us, making the whole experience even better. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for excellent food, great service, and stunning views.

Jacqueline Shaprow I’ve eaten here countless times while staying at the Kona Kai in San Diego! The desserts are awesome and breakfast is my favorite here. The eggs Benedict and French toast are great. I also enjoy the ahi tuna appetizer.

Will Yan The food and service were very good. Definitely will come back. It was raining during our visit but we had a great time. I got the pre fix menu (short ribs) and you can’t go wrong. Also the calamari appetizer was excellent. 5-stars

Darrell Yoshimi Recently dined here on two different occasions and were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was pleasant, the wait staff was welcoming and attentive. The bar was well stocked and cocktails well made. Wine list includes some nice central coast selections. Most importantly the food was nicely prepared and on point. Or favorite dishes were steamed clams, beet salad, bucatini pasta w/ blackened salmon, seafood capellini, margherita pizza and filet mignon.
