Straw Hat Pizza - (Near Hollister, CA)

benjaminGonzlez Stopped by for breakfast and got a nicer experience than expected. This place is a gift shop, Bar, liquor store & restaurant, deli, & memorabilia shop all wrapped up into one thing. The breakfast i had was delicious the hand made drop biscuits and gravy were hearty and buttery. My GF got the chorizo burrito and its very good but not spicy enough for my taste. I was expecting a rest stop but got a lot more than that forsure. The staff was extremely nice.

Absense Best experience ever. Staff was awesome. Atmosphere was incredible, felt like I was fine dining. The food was incredibly insane. It was so fun to cook our own food. We had the brisket, Hawaiian BBQ steak, and the ribs. I couldnt decide which was better. Really great salad. Never have done this type of dining before and our server explained it very nicely to us.

Todd Stout I had lunch with the boss and three retired former coworkers today. I ordered the Classic French Dip. It was delicious. I would definitely order that again. I didnt catch our servers name, but he was very polite and quite attentive. The other gentleman who brought out some of our food was rather polite as well. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

jamie hart This place was amazing. The best club sandwich I’ve ever had. My partner got the chicken fried steak and eggs and we were both so impressed. We shared a slice of French toast and it melted in our mouths. The food quality was top notch. Even the to go box was quality and not plastic. The music was just the right volume to enjoy and still have a conversation. The art and murals were incredible. I can tell that this place was very intentional with everything that they do. It was absolutely delicious with a full bar. I am very picky and not easy to please when it comes to food and this place blew my mind. I can’t wait to go back.

Sofia D Warm and cozy atmosphere. The Fig & Goat burger was 10/10. Highly recommend the specialty drink Mama Sheep if you like grapefruit and the mac and cheese as well.

Okita AMAZING ATMOSPHERE !! This is such a perfect dinner spot in Carlsbad and super close to the ocean so you can walk off the food afterwards. The food was really good for the price with relatively large portions. We showed up with a reservation and had zero wait time. The service was really good and the staff were friendly. The restroom wasnt that big and only had 2 stalls but it was very clean and had a very interesting facet. Will definitely be coming back for more !
