Savannah Green I want to thank the amazing staff and management of Friar Tucks for one of the best nights I have had in a long time. The power went out on Victorian Christmas and we made our way to their bar. Although we couldn’t get any food at that time we enjoyed our mulled wine. The singers continued their concert for all of us there and everything was lit with beautiful candle light. They didn’t have to let us in or keep the music going but they helped keep us warm and dry. It was a magical experience that was really once in a lifetime. After the power came back they had a surge of people come in and they handled it with grace, professionalism and kindness. This is what I love about our small town and I feel like people and places like that are why this time of year is so special here in Nevada City. This is what the holidays are all about

Massa Rifai WOW. I want to move to SanDiego just so I can come here more often…. Food is EXCELLENT we had the vodka a la scampi and a special of the day of ravioli… all food was amazing! The table side tiramisu is really good and they have really good tea setup which I appreciate! The staff were amazing and the service was on point. Also… reserve a table in the patio- it is beautiful…. Highly recommend this place!!

Crystal Yang You cannot miss out this restaurant if you visit Pacific Grove. All dishes are well made. I especially recommend their scallops, lamb rack and rainbow trout . Also their desserts are Devine! I love the bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce with banana ice cream. The panna cotta and plum sorbet are also very delicious!

Holly Dadok Wonderful experience. We went for an early dinner on a Tuesday, so the restaurant was fairly calm for most of our dinner and didn’t start to get busy until we were near the end of our dinner. We brought our little one, and the employees were very accommodating in helping us use the wheelchair lift and finding a table that accommodates a bassinet. When baby was getting fussy near the end of dinner and we had to get going, they helped us leave quickly and with no stress. Our waiter was, Scott, a sommelier, who went above and beyond with service. He was friendly, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. He recommended to us our new favorite wine! The food was delicious and the restaurant interior was beautiful. Only con was that it was a little warm inside, I think around 79 degrees, but we didn’t bring it up to anyone because we were having a great time regardless. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Galla Sai Vasudha Had dinner here on my anniversary,it has the best view in sandiego, food was amazing, service was great, ambience is pretty quiet and relaxing, good happy hour menu 3-5:30. My favorite was steamed muscles, fried calamari and lobster mac and cheese, highly recommended. Topped us off with desserts to mark our occasion. Thanks for the experience will definitely come back.

Joe S We walked in on a Wednesday night celebrating a great work day; slightly nervous because it was a hour before closing. We were welcomed warmly and never felt rushed during our meal. Food and drinks were tasty. Decor is nice. Will come back!
