Charlie Henley Our waitress Tracy was freaking awesome. Food was great. Service was even better went 2 days in a row, and would definitely go back again. And would recommend it to anyone.

The Golden Wahine The Village is my Dads favorite local restaurant for breakfast! His favorite is the Rodeo...blueberry pancakes, two bacon, two eggs and fruit. Mine is their BLT with extra bacon! The atmosphere is very loving and Gabby and her husband Jose are so inviting. We have been eating there for over 20 years! This morning my Dad had his second favorite breakfast Biscuit and Gravy. They also have GREAT Margaritas and I LOVE their Shrimp Bruschettas!

Kathleen Law We used to love this place and we hadnt been here in quite some time. So since I had an appointment out in Concord I decided to stop off and take home dinner. While I was waiting for my takeout order, I saw two groups come in and wait to be seated. They both threw up their hands in disgust and left and one guy came out saying they had been at the table for over 30 minutes and didnt even have water. So what Id like to say is the facility hasnt changed and I suspect they are severely short-staffed. It just seemed to take forever for everything. On the other hand, their food is as good as ever. The portions are a little bit smaller, but thats to be expected given the inflation right now. But we were all delighted that our favorites tasted just as good as they always did! The people who do work there are very friendly and try very hard. I just think theyre short-staffed

matthew villegas Black bear is pretty consistent with their food and it’s good. Our server tonight was Bradley and probably the best service we have had. He greeted us as we walked in and sat us immediately. Introduced himself and told us about the specials and difference in menus, got us started on drinks and came back to take our order. This guy had multiple tables but consistently checked on us for any refills and how our food was tasting. I saw him and heard him giving the same service to every table. Excellent service and wished us happy holidays and thanked us for coming in. Hopefully Bradley is your next server.

Dee We were a group of 8 that arrived early. Thankfully, we were seated in the bar area where we had cocktails and then sat at a nice, somewhat secluded table for dinner. The crab cakes appetizer was fabulous, the bread with oil & vinegar was great, along with our meals. Thank you so much for the friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the parking as we had to park across the street as there were other private business signs. We will visit again.

Kaylene Christner Ordered for delivery, the food arrived as promised. It was hot and fresh. Everything was as ordered, the pizza could have been cooked a little longer and the crust was on the thick side. Could have used some salt and pepper. Good food great job. Thank you.
