Holy Smoke BBQ - Hanford

Rating: 4.4 /5
Carie Hopkins It was my first time here today as Im fairly new to Hanford. I had the brisket sandwich and it was delicious! The meat was piled high on the sandwich, it was tender, melt in your mouth and seasoned deliciously. I also experienced very friendly service. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend trying their delicious bbq!

Neighborly - Westlake Village

Rating: 4.7 /5
Ruth Metcalf Ive been to Neighborly twice and enjoyed it both times. My favorite entree is the salmon rice bowl, which comes with pesto salmon, herbed rice, slice avocados, green beans with sun dried tomatoes and some green salad. Totally delicious and big enough for 2 meals. They also have delicious coconut soft serve ice cream that you can have alone or with toppings. My lunch mate complained about the various things she didnt like about Neighborly, like the too-loud music. However, Im ok with the whole setup. The only thing thats confusing is the electronic order menu, but I think it helps if you look at the menu ahead of time online. That way, you know what you want and can quickly process your order. The gift shop is cute and I enjoyed the cookie samples. The wait staff was also helpful. A shout-out to Mike, who comped me a strawberry "Saturdae" (as opposed to a sundae). He was especially kind and helpful. I definitely plan to return!

La Nacional - Chula Vista

Benny All the mezcal cocktails are bomb! We love going for Sunday brunch and get the chilaquiles, birria, or the chorizo-papa burritos.

Parkestry Rooftop Bar & Lounge - Anaheim

Rating: 3.5 /5
Erica B Had so much fun at their summer Saturday brunch! Went to their special pride event which was a total blast! The staff were so friendly and attentive, food and cocktails were great! They just added this booze bag which is a great deal and so cute! Plus you have views of Disneyland which is pretty cool! Highly recommend checking it out for brunch or for their normal evening hours!! They also have a live DJ at brunch and live music/DJ some nights so it definitely is a vibe.

Spice Garden - Redding

Rating: 4.9 /5
Gabriella Herrera My family and I stopped at Spice Garden on our drive down I-5, and we’re so glad we did. The location is super convenient right off the highway, and from the moment we sat down we felt genuinely cared for. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive—we had multiple servers throughout the night and were never left waiting. We loved everything we ordered: pakoras (a standout!), chicken biryani, lamb bati, butter chicken, papadam and garlic naan. We also appreciated the endless masala chai refills. The chutney and plum sauce were exceptional, and to top it all off, I had their house-made pistachio ice cream, which was incredibly creamy and delicious. I was shocked to hear they’ve only been open for about five months—they truly have it figured out. We’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending this spot to everyone passing through Redding!
