The Old Spaghetti Factory - (Near Fresno, CA)

Jeffery Clark Found this quaint little place in Santa Monica when meeting up with friends traveling from Germany. The menu seems fluid, so dont count on dishes being the same. We had oysters, a couple of there Ceasar Goes Vegan salads. Dont recall the exact dressing recipe, but it had avocado in it which gave it a creamy texture. Also, had their grilled prawns. Nicely spiced with heads on and juicy. Last dish was their melon salad, an excellent dish with great flavor composition. Would definitely recommend. It is a "small plates" restaurant, so go prepared to order a lot of dishes, or go when not very hungry. Saw the tuna tartar toast and it looked amazing. Prices were reasonable.

Wayne Flower The new Star Restaurant is an interesting mix of new and some of the old favorites. The restaurant has been updated and lots of staff to make sure all is going well. They are still getting up to speed, but we got our food fast and it was great. Lots of attention to detail. We went with the new offerings and glad I did. We will be back. Posted some photos of the dinner menus. Think they have different menus for different times of the day. Give them a try, you will love the food. I hope they might dim some of the lights. Was really bright in the back room.

Ann C Every restaurant has its own story to tell. But this restaurant’s humble beginnings of chasing the American dream are something else. The interior design is tall, spacious, and comfortable. It combines artistic creativity with a bright and vibrant atmosphere. Very clever. I took a bite of my first Dave’s Hot Chicken tender sandwich. I cannot deny that it was incredibly delicious and addictive with its flavor. However, the chicken tender was a little too cold for my liking. Other than that it would be perfect. Its no harder to choose a shake flavor unless you cant decide what to pick. Now the Napoleon shake is an alternative. Don’t worry and be happy with the shake Napoleon as it conquered them all. Especially the lucky charms on toppings. It is my husband’s favorite as it is special. This milkshake flavor is something you cannot get at other places.

Steve Davila The atmosphere and decor was inviting. The food was delicious. Had the trio dip -and the combo lamb, beef and chicken - all tender and so good!!

Erin Swartout Went for a birthday dinner at almost 7 on a Friday night. It was pretty busy ( we had reservations, so we were immediately seated). Ordered drinks and an appetizer - artichoke dip which was fantastic. Our table ordered steakhouse burgers, a Bavarian sausage platter and a pasta dish with grilled chicken. Those who ordered the steakhouse, burgers and the steak on the burger wasnt that great. Everything else was really good. Everyone had a taste of the german potato salad and it was a hit. Service was great.
