Joseph Gomez Best Southern-style comfort food in San Jose. Everything we tried was outstanding, Uncle Greg’s ribs are hands down the best I’ve had in a very long time. Tender, flavorful, smoky, took me straight to my childhood backyard barbecue with family. The collard greens were seasoned just right, the candied yams hit that sweet spot, and the hot link sausages were full of flavor with just the right kick. The brisket was good too, but if I had to choose between the brisket and the ribs, I’d go ribs all day long. This is good, soulful cooking that feels like love on a plate. Hilary Dito We stumbled across this gem looking for Mediterranean food. It did not disappoint. The baba campus was one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t miss the swarms either - the slices just pop. We enjoyed kebabs and the spicy chicken too the desert was perfect. Very attentive severa.

Tiffany Shieh Delicious! An unexpected traditional find in Santa Cruz. Friendly staff as well. We got spicy beef noodle soup, fish noodle soup, mapo tofu, cucumber salad, and eggplant + string beans. Portions were very generous, enough to take some to go. We reached the $88 limit and got free soup dumplings :)

Simon S. Amazing margaritas! The 5 street taco plate is really great. The atmosphere is very welcoming. There was a band playing and it made the visit just perfect. Definitely a great place to eat and have a good evening.

Cricket Rust We came in a half hour before closing after driving 14 hours, we were welcomed kindly and told to sit. The food was amazing! First real thing we ate all day and man was it soul soothing. The lovely gentleman running the place sat with us while we ate. It was a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend!

Gabriela Cadena Came for happy hour and had a blast. Thanks to Adam for answering our questions and making a great Brandy Press, cocktail of the day. We had the Reuben rolls, calamari and chicken dore (best of the three items we ordered in my opinion -- the vegetables and mashed potatoes were exquisite). Loved the local atmosphere. Will definitely return.
