4 /5 Lasana Smith: My mom wanted to go out for breakfast, so I decided to take her to Another Broken Egg Café. Parking was easy, and the rustic interior gave me First Watch vibes, but with a delicious New Orleans twist. The menu features Southern favorites like shrimp and grits, Mardi Gras omelet, and biscuit beignets. The last two were our picks, and both were fresh, flavorful, and made to order. Our waitress, Ashley, was also warm and attentive, which made the experience even better.
Although our visit was great overall, there were a couple of small things that could be improved:
My mom’s decaf coffee arrived lukewarm, but they quickly reheated it when we mentioned it.
We had to request spoons, brown sugar, and water since they weren’t on the table by default. Not a big deal, but it would’ve been nice to have those ready without asking.
Still, the food and service definitely make this café worth visiting again.
