4 /5 Ethan Collins: I finally got the chance to try French Grill House after hearing so many great things, and it lived up to a lot of the hype.
The atmosphere is honestly the first thing that hits you warm string lights, lively energy, and this charming European feel that makes you want to stay longer than planned.
We sat outside and it really felt like a cozy evening gathering with friends rather than a typical restaurant meal.
I ordered the pork chop with green beans, and it was cooked beautifully tender, flavorful, and surprisingly filling.
My partner had the salmon and loved how fresh and flaky it was. Cocktails were well done too; you can tell they take pride in their bar.
Service was friendly and attentive, though the pacing was a little slow at times, especially when ordering another round of drinks.
Nothing deal-breaking, just something to note if you’re in a rush.
Overall, a lovely dinner spot that feels like a tucked-away gem. With just a bit faster service, it would easily be a 5-star night.
I’ll definitely come back to try the lamb duo or the steak next.
