Mind Set On Travel Can’t say enough about the Columbian Cafe at the Tampa Bay History Center. Based on the original Columbian Resturant in Ybor City, this location has both inside and outside (with heaters in winter time). Bars in both areas happy to serve you while waiting for your table. Highly suggest getting the red or white Sangria and the 1905 Salad which is made table side. The Cuban is a must have while the Chicken Dishes are plenty full. Stop by the gift store.

Dr. Arlene Williams We visited here twice while on vacation and this place is a must for breakfast. Our server was great and she remembered us from our last visit. The menu had lots of options and the food is great.

Anita Stephens Stopped by for Lunch today. It’s Saturday and it’s busy. We sat outside because this place is so laid back surrounded by lots of beautiful plants and greenery. Our waitress Meagan was so sweet and friendly. Our food came out hot and on time. My Husband had the burger and I had the Crab cakes. The crab cake were so good. Tasted fresh. My Husband said his burger was very juicy. The prices were very reasonable. Parking may be a little challenging, but usually you can find something on the street. The have inside and outside tables. Everyone was outside because it was such a beautiful sunny fall day on Amelia Island. I highly recommend going here to eat. We decided we would go back for dinner next week.

Heidi Lee Whenever I want to impress a crowd for a special occasion I know I can rely on La Grande Martier to take it to the next level. This was the 3rd business holiday dining event I have coordinated at this location and they never disappoint. The decor in the hearth room is cozy, classy and unlike any other setting in the area and it really shines during the holidays. We had a great local pianist playing in the background. The management and the chef were communicative and accommodating every step of the way. The wait staff were excellent. Guests were so impressed with the diversity of the menu items and many who had not been here before said they would be coming back to dine again.

Annie My partner and I decided to check out Taco Beach Shack today given the great reviews and our craving for Mexican food and I can say it definitely did not disappoint! Kourtney, our hostess/ server was the friendliest person; she had a great personality and gave us the scoop on all the different foods on the menu. The food itself was amazing and fresh. We had dined at another Mexican place earlier in our trip on the Broadwalk but Taco beach shack was so much better! I tip my hat off to Kourtney and the gang at Taco beach shack, great food and service. I would highly recommend.

Terry Burley Shelly & Todd’s was amazing! Largest portion’s I have ever seen! Jenny our server was fantastic! She was friendly, knowledgeable and on top of everything. It was our first time here, Jenny walked us through the extensive menu. Their signature pancakes were 1 1/2” tall 8” across - two pancakes the equivalent of 6 normal pancakes. Meat lovers breakfast bowl, easily a quart of meat cheese and potatoes topped with eggs of your choice. Sausage and biscuits were good, not great. Our bill was $50 for two people. Since it was our first time we wanted to try a couple of things. Knowing portion sizes and how good the food is, we will order less the next time.
