LA JATO RESTAURANT - (Near Hialeah, FL)

RF The food was delicious, the waitress was great, but the front seating staff acted so lost ... they were just talking amongst themselves more than wanting to help. I got up from our booth and asked to pay for our food and get some to go boxes because our waitress was so busy and we were done eating they told me to go to the take out counter then the take out counter didnt know what to do either but atleast he tried to find out waitress for us. I dont understand why they didnt understand I just wanted to pay for our food and get to go boxes because we didnt finish our food? There were 3 people at the counter and they didnt understand that?!! Our poor waitress was running around everywhere finally the take out order guy flagged her down. Like they all work there. They should know what to do...

krista jarrard I really enjoyed this place! Hannah was an amazing server, probably the best Ive ever had anywhere Ive gone. The food was amazing and the drinks were equally as great! I got dessert to but didnt take a picture, it was awesome. I sat outside to look at the ocean and I was the only one out there. I highly recommend this spot if you want some good crab legs...get the bucket...I was stuffed to the tippy top and still have an abundance of food to take home. Will definitely be coming back next time im in panama city! Oh yeah and you get to keep the bucket and the cute cups!!

Neusa M Nice location, service, food, and drinks were great. The place was very clean, including the restroom. I need to mention that some of the waitstaff do not speak English, so be aware if you dont speak Spanish. I did, so it was easy to communicate, and my server was amazing

Valery Mendez Best hidden gem in town! The food and service is 10/10. Menu seems intimidating… but is far from it! So many choices to choose from. Seafood, steak, chicken, soups, and vegetarian dishes. They also have a good amount of gluten free options. Adding pictures from all my visits .

Melanie Ellis Our servers were fantastic and so were the conch fritters. My husband had the black and blue burger and it was cooked to perfection. I had the grouper which was excellent but a tiny bit over cooked. The drinks were good, the only thing was the Old Fashion was served with a maraschino cherry instead of the good filthy cherry...Will definitely return

Francesca Adue Wow! I had the Chipotle Maya here and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the spice level 2 and it was the perfect amount of spice. The flan was the best I’ve had so very tasty. Enrique gave some great recommendations and was very attentive! Highly recommend eating here. The photo is just a half portion because I split it with someone.
