Mark Pecora We come here nearly on a weekly basis! It’s very relaxed, tons of restaurants, movie theater, (Alamo) and my kids love to see all the hot cars coming through this place! Our kids are 14, 12, 8 & 4. There is a Whole Foods here also. They have paid parking in the many parking garages, or you can drive around, there is plenty of free parking, you just have to be patient! Everything here is moderately priced, some things are very up scale. Awesome place to visit, go for some nice walks, enjoy some food and ice cream, see some super cars, and just relax in the laid back environment!

Daniel Rodriguez Lailac is an astonishing restaurant — I can see exactly why they’ve earned a Michelin star. The food was exquisite. We went with the full tasting menu, and every bite was packed with flavor. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with great attention to detail and a thoughtful mix of flavors. My personal favorite was the pasta with truffles and the tuna bites — absolutely unforgettable. I highly recommend trying the full menu; it’s incredibly satisfying and well worth it. The service was spot-on. The staff was attentive and professional — exactly what you’d expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. If they keep up this level of quality, I have no doubt they’re on track for a second star. Their trajectory looks very promising, and I’ll definitely be keeping a close eye on them. They thoughtfully accommodated my partner’s dietary needs — she’s vegetarian and pregnant — and the chef was incredible, ensuring every dish was both safe for her to eat and maintained top-tier quality and flavor.

Melisa B. This was our first time at Ironworks. We recently moved to the area a year ago and never knew this hidden gem was sitting right in the heart of Tavares on Lake Dora. Michael is an AMAZING bartender and makes some pretty “dangerous” cocktails!!! Kate took exceptional care of us and was super personable and attentive. This will be one of our regular Go-To’s from now on and we were so pleased with everything all around. We had the ribeye, it was perfectly seasoned, and highly recommend it. Didn’t take foodie pics of our entree because we wanted to dive right in but took other photos from our dining experience tonight. Thank you Ironworks and especially to Michael & Kate. Wendi Hileman Took my Mama here for lunch. The fried green tomatoes were amazing! We had the sweetest waitress! I had the shrimp and grits and my Mama had the burger. Both were outstanding.
