The worst part of tonight’s experience is trying to figure out what to choose because there were sooooooo many great choices! My son had the brisket and macaroni and he said the sauce was the best and had a unique wonderful taste! My husband had the barbecue pulled pork platter and he too said it was the best barbecue pulled pork he had ever had. I had the BLT with fries and it was the best BLT I have ever had! The Jalapeño poppers were a great start to the meal. My daughter had half a chicken quesadilla and she said it was great! The owner and cook even sat with us for a while…how cool is that!

Quaily Bug Went to dinner w family was a lovely time. Tina was a fabulous! She was helpful w our first time hear w ordering. She was patient and kind excellent server. She let us have plenty of time between our courses. The food was so very good. Escargot was buttery and perfect amount of garlic. We have bottle of red wine, goat cheese salads, lobster raviolis, Beef Bourguignon . We were to full for dessert but they sound amazing. Wonderful place would recommend if you want high quality all the way around. Anniversary, Special Occasions, Romantic, and or want to impress… This is your place won’t disappoint for sure big menu.

The evening offered a delightful array of dishes, though the quality varied notably. The pork schnitzel, while presented with care, fell short in seasoning and exhibited a slightly dry texture. The grilled octopus was a visual delight, artfully arranged, yet its texture was somewhat reminiscent of rubber, which detracted from the overall enjoyment. The beef osso buco was elegantly served, boasting a distinctive smoky essence that, while intriguing, may not resonate with all palates. The goulash, although attractively plated, proved to be merely satisfactory. The crowning jewel of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert, which was a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. It struck a perfect balance between sweetness and presentation, earning a well-deserved five stars. In summary, Chanta presents a blend of culinary strengths and weaknesses, creating an intriguing dining experience that is worth exploring.

Eduardo P T The skirt steak we ordered (shown in the photo) was absolutely outstanding. It was cooked to perfection, exactly as we requested — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The side dishes were also very well prepared and complemented the main dish perfectly. What really stood out, apart from the quality of the food, was the service. Our waitress was extremely attentive throughout the entire evening, always checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. On top of that, the manager personally came by to ask if everything was to our liking, which added a very professional and welcoming touch to the whole experience. The rest of the food we tried was also excellent, and the restaurant itself has a perfect location right in the city center. You can easily walk there from many nearby hotels, and if you prefer to drive, there is plenty of parking available, which makes it very convenient. Overall, a fantastic dining experience — great food, wonderful service, and a location that couldn’t be better. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place where both the quality of the dishes and the hospitality truly stand out.

Edmundo Ruiz First time here. Totally impressed with the atmosphere and plenty of big screens and TV in the booth seating! We were able to watch the football game of our choice right at our booth! The menu is reasonable with very selective choices. I opted for the Philly cheesesteak and the home chips. Excellent menu choice. My partner had the burger and fries. Super good choice. This is definitely a must stop if youre in the Daytona Beach area. Im definitely trying the oysters next time.

Marie Weaver Hidden Gem BBQ Spot in Okeechobee! If you’re looking for the best BBQ in Okeechobee, look no further than Fat Johnny’s BBQ. This local, hard-to-find spot serves up amazing pulled pork sandwiches that are juicy, smoky, and full of authentic Southern flavor. The sides are just as good, with crispy seasoned fries, creamy coleslaw, and delicious baked beans that taste homemade. We had Riley as our server, and she delivered 10-star service, friendly, attentive, and made sure our drinks stayed full and our meal was perfect from start to finish. The restaurant has a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere with great food, cold drinks, and plenty of seating. The only small suggestion I’d make is maybe switching to a milder cleaning product; the Fabuloso scent was strong. The BBQ deserves to be the first thing you smell! Otherwise, this place is five stars all the way, with great food, great service, and a true local BBQ treasure in Okeechobee, Florida. We’ll definitely be back!
