5 /5 Chelsea LeNoble: Everything here was delicious! There isn’t a dish we tried that we wouldn’t recommend and gladly order again. Big portions, great temperature and flavor, and easily the best quality NOLA food in the area. The authenticity runs from the food to the decorations to the football or parades playing on the TVs. Favorites included the gator bites, lobster mac n cheese, redfish and grits, cornbread, and of course, the bread pudding. No raisins to ruin dessert, just sheer perfection. The beignets are fantastic, too! Service is great: friendly, helpful, and the right amount of attentiveness. A perfect casual spot for lunch or dinner when you want to relax and have fantastic food.

5 /5 Ms Sam: My husband and I came here for our weekly date night, and it did not disappoint. As soon as I saw gumbo on the menu, I knew I had to try it. We started with the Voodoo Balls, and they were absolutely fabulous—crispy, flavorful, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. I ordered the gumbo along with the Big Easy. The gumbo had a bit of a spicy kick, but nothing overwhelming—still very enjoyable. The Big Easy, however, completely stole the show. It was hands down the best dish of the night—rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed. My husband ordered the Lake Pontchartrain, which he rated a solid 8.5 out of 10. Even so, he agreed with me that the Big Easy was the clear winner of the evening. A great spot for a fun, flavorful date night—we’ll definitely be back!

3 /5 Quelle Lowe: The Bayou Kitchen and Lounge was a serendipitous find. My party was warmly served by Aaliyah, and we wanted to know if the offerings matched her convivial demeanor. She described the specials in great detail. The Swamp Water matched its description as a standard mixed drink with a tasty New Orleans twist. Then, we started our lunch with parmesan chargrilled oysters and the Buck Jump shrimp. We had split opinions on the oysters, but we unanimously agreed that the shrimp was delicious. It was a great portion size, and the Buck jump sauce added a savory zesty flavor. Our satisfaction continued through the Lake Pontchartrain, crawfish étoufée style. However, the red fish version of the dish was overcooked and had a poor presentation. The Bayou Lobster Mac brought us back to our original mood with the good flavors created by the hot and cheesy noodles. The dish had an equal balance of lobster and shrimp. Finally, our sweet taste buds were satisfied with hot, light, and fluffy beignets. The restaurant was a quaint location in a shopping plaza that turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

5 /5 Tatiana Rafaat: Food was amazing! The service was fantastic! The gumbo is the best in Orlando I’ve never had and they even won an award for their gumbo!! My server informed me that they most things in the restaurant are imported from Louisiana, so thy really are authentic. I do plan on attending again
