5 /5 Shelly Fields: We got there on a very busy Thursday night and it was blues night. The band was fantastic. We luckily got 4 seats at the bar and Jody (part owner) was our bartender. What a hoot! She was fantastic! Grouper bites and philly cheesesteak did not disappoint. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience all around. And I think Jody’s single too! Just sayin……

5 /5 Francisco Preciado: Was recommend this place on a Celiac FB page, and it did not disappoint! The gluten-free buns are some of the best Ive tried! Very gluten-free and friendly, and the staff are awesome. One of the owners came out from the kitchen and greeted everyone with a smile and positive attitude. Highly recommend!

5 /5 David Semillo: Stopped in after the football game for a victory meal, and I’m so glad we chose The Getaway. We were greeted right away, and the hospitality was top-notch from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The ambiance was great, too — it had the perfect vibe to relax and celebrate after the game. I didn’t catch our waitress’s name, but she was incredibly sweet and attentive. Honestly, I had the feeling she might’ve even been an owner or manager with the way she genuinely cared about our experience. When I’m back in town, this will definitely be one of my first stops. Highly recommend!

2 /5 Kelly Simmons: We entered the restaurant and were told by bartender to pick any table. There were people seated at 3 tables in the whole place and 4 people seated at the bar. We were greeted by our server promptly and received our drinks. I watched one server (not ours) finish her shift and leave after closing out 2 of the 3 tables with people. Our server closed out the other table. I was noticing all of this because we were waiting and waiting and waiting to place our orders. Then a family of 4 came in. Our server got their drinks. Then got their order…. still hasn’t taken our order. We were aggravated but remained patient. Our order was taken and we watched the table that came in 20 minutes after us get their food. Still patient. After waiting an hour, we received our food. One burger was ordered medium rare and one was ordered medium… both were well-done. My chicken sandwich was barely even chicken. You can see the picture. Very little of the sandwich had actual meat. That very small bit of meat was not good at all. It was thin, dry, chewy… overcooked. The steak fries were great!

5 /5 Greg Kimball: I recently visited the Getaway Feill at 2386 Allen Rd, in Tallahassee, FL. I had finished my day visited the city and stopped in for a late lunch. I sat at the counter and greeted by my bar server and the owner looked up and said hello. I ordered a fish sandwich with cheddar and it came out w provolone. It still tasted good but the point was that the owner offered up another one. I declined but appreciated the offer. A good place to enjoy a meal!
