Tavern on the Trail - Evans

TruthSerum This restaurant is delectable! I’m not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first because we had to wait 45 minutes to get our food, but our skepticism quickly changed after tasting our meals. We had a wonderful server who did a great job, the people at the tavern were lovely and the food was better than any tavern food I’ve had before. It was worth the price and worth the wait! We will be eating here again.

Ferraros Kitchen Blue Ridge - Blue Ridge

Scott Jason Excellent, authentic Italian food in Blue Ridge, Georgia? Check. This restaurant has the wow factor youre looking for the ambiance and service youd expect in a high end establishment. We were greeted by their hostess and GM as soon as we walked in and were sat in a cozy table up against the wall where the wines were displayed. We were greeted by a server assistant who took our water order. Yes...three options...tap, still and sparkling. 9 dollars for a bottle of still water may seem steep but it was worth it. We were asked if we were celebrating anything and we said it was our 8th wedding anniversary. We were given a card that was signed by the entire staff and complimentary glasses of champagne. Our server was Mattia and he was incredible and personable. He was great with conversation and answered our questions with enthusiasm mentioning he was the son of the chef, Igor who had come to Blue Ridge to open his restaurants after he fell in love with the area. Mattia was attentive and ensured we were checked on in a timely manner. The server assistants were excellent with refilling our water and clearing the table as needed. The food...INCREDIBLE. We started with the Burrata and it was delicious. Excellent choice to start with. Their Caesar salad was one of the best weve ever had and got the taste buds going for our main dishes. My wife has the mushroom and truffle risotto and mentioned it was some of the best she has ever had. I opted for the spaghetti Cacio and pepe and it was truly mouthwatering. We couldnt end the meal without dessert and while Mattia did mention they did not have their tiramisu we had the Gelato and mille foglie which was the perfect ending to the meal. Again, not enough can be said about the staff and Mattia who truly is a treasure at this restaurant. If youre in town, make it a point to stop in for a delicious meal where youll be taken care of.

John Wolfram Absolutely superb chicken salad sandwich. I had one of their hot macadamia nut cookies just out of the oven. That cookie alone was with stopping in. This is a quaint little eatery and well worth the money spent for a great lunch.

Savannah S We throughly enjoyed our dinner here. We did make reservations earlier in the day. We started with the roasted squash appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. For entree we had the hanger steak and beef tagliatelle. Both were outstanding. For dessert, we had the almond torte and crème brûlée. The almond torte was very well balanced and we enjoyed the raspberry sorbet. The crème brûlée was the only thing we had that didn’t blow us away. You can tell the food is locally sourced and organic.

Zen Ramen & Bento - Dahlonega

Rating: 4.8 /5
Ana Enchautegui 5-Star Review for Zen Ramen & Bento, Dahlonega, GA for our first visit. Delicious Ramen in the Heart of Downtown Dahlonega! We stopped by Zen Ramen & Bento during a day Christmas trip to Dahlonega, and it was a fantastic find right off the square. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a comforting meal after exploring the town. We ordered a couple of ramen bowls (went with the classic Tonkotsu and a spicy variation), and we absolutely loved the noodles, they were perfectly cooked with that ideal chewy texture, and the broth was rich and flavorful without being overwhelming. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and fresh quickly. The service was friendly and attentive, just like many others have mentioned. It’s a great spot for authentic ramen in a small town, highly recommend if you’re craving something warm and satisfying. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
