Anezka Virani This place is the quintessential neighbourhood cafe. It was so wholesome to see how most people knew each other. The food was absolutely amazing. We gad the breakfast scrambler and the key lime pie. We were passing by the town and happened to find the place but we’re so glad we did!

Hubby had fried steak and gravy with grits and biscuit!) We were delighted with all the servers (yes, they were busy with tables full and everyone was pitching in to help each other! Very friendly and welcoming!

kim dowd We ordered meals based on our diets: one vegan, one keto and gluten free. The menu was really well marked for that and owners were so sweet and pointed at every food behind the counter and told us what which diet it was ok for. And they have vegan baklava and many other vegan desserts. 75 percent of the food was vegan. I ordered a water and they grabbed the coldest water from the back of the fridge. Asked if we wanted molasses in our teas. Just nice people. We will be back.

The fried chicken and porkchops were perfect, and the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. we also loved the candied yams – they had the perfect balance of sweetness and spice. My dining partner got the smothered pork chops, which were melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was incredibly friendly, and the cozy, family-owned atmosphere made us feel right at home. Dont forget to save room for the peach cobbler; its amazing! The restaurant was absolutely immaculate.

Michelle Heath Christy’s Cafe far exceeded expectations. The staff were gracious and hospitable. The food was delicious. The texture of the biscuits was perfect. The Beignets were incredible. Our friends had their three young children with them, and the staff would not let us clean up our mess. They were so patient and kind. I would highly recommend stopping in for the food and hospitality.
