New Hunan Buffet - (Near Elberton, GA)

4 /5 Kenneth Kaftan: Our latest visit was a Sunday after "church" and the food was fresh and delicious. I am a former food safety inspector and always look for cleanliness and sanitation and they do a good job of cleaning up after messy people. The best Chinese buffet to me is close to Fort Gordon but this one in Hellberton is one of the good ones

4 /5 Crystal Latiolais: Stairs or a ramp to get to the buffet line so if you are wheelchair dependent please be aware of this. Food was pretty standard for a Chinese buffet. The service was good. My drink was never empty even thought it got pretty busy. I was there around dinner time and the food stayed in rotation so it was all pretty fresh.

5 /5 Karen Turpin: Many Properly cooked shrimp and chicken dishes (not mushy or rubbery), very tasty crab salad and a couple other dishes, nice assortment of fresh fruits. Hot and sour chicken had lots of nice veggies and tasted good, not very spicy though, if that’s what you’re looking for. Everything was quite clean, including the restroom, although those with mobility issues may have problems getting around the narrow hall and doorways to the restrooms. Apparently the central AC was not working properly, but numerous additional floor units throughout the restaurant kept it cool, although a bit “breezy”, blowing around the napkins, etc. All in all, we had a lovely time and will return! Much better cleanliness and food, especially the seafood than any we’ve had anywhere in Athens or Commerce (we live in Madison County).

5 /5 John Simth: First time here , to be honest I was not excepted the food quality to be as good as it was . I think I was wrong.I was very impressed with this Chinese buffet. They have an incredible amount of options on the buffet. More than 70 items I guess. They have a full Chinese buffet with lots of Chinese dishes, seafood, American food, and a whole separate dessert buffet. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly. I will be returning here and I highly recommend it!
